Dr. Maggie Horton grew up around dentistry in Moncks Corner. She was raised in Moncks Corner, where her parents opened Berkeley Family Dentistry in 1987. After attending Berkeley High School, Presbyterian College, and the Medical University of South Carolina, she returned to practice as a general dentist in Moncks Corner.
Keeping dentistry in the family, Dr. Maggie married Jeff Jackson, a pediatric dentist, in November 2017. Dr. Jeff is currently building a pediatric dental practice in Summerville, South Carolina, so the Jacksons plan to make the Lowcountry their home.

Such a great experience! The hygienist was super nice and offered some great tips to keep my teeth healthy between visits. Dr. Jackson was also incredibly kind! I felt comfortable the whole time. I'm so glad we found such a great practice for our oral care!

We absolutely love this place! My Daughter, Brae absolutley loves coming here. She tells me every day how she is looking forward to her next filling visit, which is said by no kid OR adult ever! She loves Dr. Maggie and one of her assistants Ashley! Everyone is beyond sweet including the people on the phone! They are so on top of it every time I call to ask them to please include a Dr note as my husband seems to ALWAYS forget this part. I went there before I took my daughter and also had Maggie. She was so patient and easy with me who wouldn't want to have the same interaction for their kiddo! You guys are absolutely amazing and have forever patients with us!

I have been coming here for 10-11 years and i love coming here!! Everyone is so friendly and professional. They always do a great job! Even my kids have started coming here now since they are old enough. They love it too! We always recommend them to others! They are the best.

Our family has been going to Berkeley Family Dentistry for maybe 28 years...Dr. Steve and Dr. Julie have been amazing! When my Granny Duncan was still alive, she loved to go see Dr. Steve. He took up so much time with her and would talk about "the good old days." Very caring and excellent dentists and staff!

Love this place! I started seeing Dr. Maggie on a recommendation, and have not been disappointed! Every member of the staff is super friendly, personable, and helpful, and I always feel like I get a great cleaning! I've had to get a couple of fillings, and each time was very fast and pain free. I would definitely recommend anyone else!

I have been a patient of Dr. Horton for about 15 years. I recently got braces as an adult and went in for an extra cleaning. The hygienist was super nice and took extra time with me. I left with a bag full of goodies to try. I ended up ordering everything she suggested. My teeth look and feel so much cleaner!

I have been going to Berkeley Family Dentistry for years They are very diligent and nice They are wonderful about filing insurance and they are reasonable I totally recommend them to anyone who wants expert care and attention

Berkeley Family Dentistry is AMAZING! Dr. Maggie and her team are all so personable and kind! I have never been fond of going to the dentist but they always make sure I'm comfortable and understand exactly what's going on! I highly recommend Berkeley Family Dentistry.
