DR. INDU SHARMA has been practicing dentistry for the past 20 years two of those years in the tropical state of Hawaii and the rest in sunny California. She had been working in the East Bay in many different offices before settling into her own practice in the diverse and vibrant city of Berkeley. She has experience in a variety of dental fields, including restorative care, aesthetic dentistry, and endodontics. A strong supporter of healthy dental hygiene for all, Dr. Sharma has signed up with supportful.org to help bring affordable dental care to the Bays underserved communities within her own office. Dr. Sharma lives in San Ramon with her husband Vik and her two children. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their children playing at the park, cooking and baking fun recipes, and serving at their local church. Dr. Sharma is excited to bring new, efficient, and safe technology that will provide quicker, easier, and more cost-effective plans for patients, thus enhancing their overall experience. An avid and active learner, she has brought in diverse treatments to her office, including Botox and invisalign. She strives in creating a gentle, cordial, and collaborative environment by discussing and explaining all possible plans for the patients understanding. Dr. Sharma is affiliated with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Berkeley Dental Society.
Michelle has over 10 years of dental experience. She completed dental hygiene degree at WCC in San Jose, ca in 2010. Prior to becoming an RDH, she spent 3 years as a dental assistant. Her understanding of periodontal disease and its contributing factors assure our patients receive the education and treatment needed to optimum gum and dental health. Providing gentle care to our patients is very important to her.

They had me calling every day for a week to finalky tell me that they are not accepting new patients. Now I need to wait an entire month so that my dental insurance assigns me to a new office.

My right front teeth crown drop calling for emergency help! The front desk Response was so quick and friendly. I do not have insurance but doctor still accepted me for emergency. Dr. Sharma was so kind and try everything they could to lower my cost. Not only treating my teeth but also giving me suggestions. She diagnose my problem and save me for the next day important interview. Otherwise, guess how I interview without one front teeth. Highly recommend this place. I ll only go Berkeley family dental for my teeth

I've been visiting to Dr. Sharma's office since 2012, after I failed to find a professional, skillful, competitive and honest dental office for longtime. Dr. Sharma's staffs are very helpful with my appointments, finance and understanding my treatments. The front office staff (Lisa) is very handy in putting my appoints (even in very short period) and she never forgets to send reminders before 24 hours of my appoints. My dental health was in a mess before I consulted Dr. Sharma. I must thank Dr. Sharma for taking a good care of my tooth, and keeping them healthy. Glad I'm found her and would definitely recommend her.

I am writing this review regarding my case which recently happened with Berkeley Family dental. I have selected this place for myself and my wife through Delta dental insurance company. When I called Indu Sharma office for appointment the representative named "Lisa" asked me first about my insurance, and i gave my all insurance details and i was said that I will receive call in 2 hrs which i didn't receive it. After 30 hrs of wait, I called again to Dr. Sharma office and again I was said that i will receive call in another 2 hrs. All right, I received call in 2 hrs and one lady representative said me that I will get appointment after 3 month. Up to 3 month there is no space. She suggested me to find another dental service provider if i want to have appointment ealry. Strange!! You know what, When I visited their webpage online to find appointment then its available after 2 days. But through online service, they don't accept the people who has Delta Dental HMO plan. You should call them if you have HMO plan to book the appointment. And When you call their office, You know the story what they are doing. So, Finally they are discriminating the patient based one plan you have chosen. If they don't like the patient to visit who has HMO plan, why not they inform are accepting people to register it through Delta Dental HMO. I am going to share my story with Delta Dental Insurance company and other corresponding places for my recovery. Thanks.
