In addition to the latest in modern materials and instrumentation, Bergenfield Dental Associates is one of the few dental offices to offer you the high-tech service of the Intraoral Video Imaging Technology, which uses a fiber optic camera to take pictures of your mouth and gums, magnify the images, and project them on a color computer monitor.
The magnified images can show many conditions that are difficult to see by eye alone. The images are printed out like a photograph. This technology allows us to make a more complete diagnosis and you to better understand conditions in your mouth and to see the improvements Dr. Shahid is making.
Digital X-rays, the latest in advanced X-ray technology, using a sensor instead of a film, captures the image of the tooth on a computer screen in seconds. Digital X-rays provide up to a 90 percent decrease in radiation from our already highly reduced X-ray machines, and are used to provide highly accurate diagnoses.
If you're afraid of the dentist or don't want to be awake during treatment, a board certified anesthesiologist can safely provide sleep anesthesia right in our office. Imagine waking up finished and delighted.

Can't say enough about how wonderful this practice is - Dr Shahid and his staff are kind, caring and thorough - super professional, highly skilled and warm and welcoming. Dr .Shahid and his staff are no joke.I have extreme anxiety and they made me feel so comfortable.Im typing this just a couple hours after 2 root canals and extraction.I feel great no pain whatsoever.Absolutely 5 star worthy.Cant say enough.

Great place. The nurse ESP deserves a raise she was OUTSTANDING! She made me feel so comfortable and she was absolutely wonderful. She's great at what she does. and the dentist was also very nice and accommodating, he didn't pressure me or make me feel like I HAD to do anything I didn't want to. I appreciate you all and everything that you do!

Dr Shahid does everything the right way to make your teeth the healthiest they can be---i always thank him and his staff when i leave.---------bottom line, Dr Shahid saved all my teeth--they were getting old with deteriorating silver fillings and fine cracks. Listening to him explain (this was about 20+ yrs ago) how 'we' needed to get each tooth that needed repair, repaired. i have all my teeth and they are strong and healthy

Thank you for the wonderful experience in making me feel so good to go to the dentist! The office staff at Bergenfield Dental are exceptional! The receptionist Amy was friendly and helpful. Upon entering the exam room Noi was very kind and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I cant say enough about Dr. Shahid and how compassionate he was in understanding my situation and the pain I was experiencing. He removed my painful back molar and immediately the next day my initial throbbing pain and headaches were gone and I can finally drink something cold! I cant thank you enough and your staff for your help. I look forward to going back to this office for any dental needs I may have in the future.

Through out my life I have spent a lot of time at the Dentist's office. Boing to Bergenfield Dental has been a very positive and rewarding experience for me. They are all friendly and most of all caring. They listen to what you have to say before considering a plan. One of the best decisions in my life was undertaking some major dental work and having it done by Dr. Shahid. He is extremely knowledgeable listens to what you have to say than makes a plan.
