Dr. Robert Mason grew up in nearby North Bergen. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1975 and his doctorate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1978.
Dr. Mason began serving the Bergen and Hudson communities when he opened the Ridgefield office in 1980. Since that time he has provided comprehensive quality dentistry using state-of-the-art dental equipment and materials in a friendly and caring environment.
His passion for continuing education has enabled him to provide high quality cosmetic dentistry such as porcelain veneers and crowns, comprehensive orthodontic therapy including Invisalign, and the placement and restoration of dental implants.

Ive been here twice so far and everyone has been super nice and attentive. Not sure the name(s) of my dental hygienests but they were so nice and made me feel comfortable-- that's rare these days! Very good experience.

Bergen Art Dental, I am so happy with my friend JC who introduced me to this office. I had so many problems with my teeth that other dentists never gave me a straight answer, and what they wanted to do was expensive. The first time I visited Bergen Art Dental office, I noticed the staff were so nice and very professional, they gave me a complete examination that I never received before at any other doctors office. It was strange to me the attention that I was getting, after they cleaned my teeth, I had a one to one with Dr. Mason and he explained to me what I been waiting to hear from a dentist, a solution and it wasn't expensive, that gave me my smile back. Gracias.

I love Bergen Arts Dental! Denise and Nancy are wonderful at the front desk. Anna is a fantastic hygienist...love her! Both Dr. Mason and Dr. Kristen are amazing dentists...knowledgeable and gentle. All of the other assistants are very sweet. I would definitely recommend Bergen Arts Dental!!!

In early December 2020 I returned to Bergen Dental Arts for the first time in over a year. The first such gap in my lifetime, but Covid-19 can get in the way. The first thing I noticed at check-in? They were leaving the door open! That screams Covid safety to me me. Everyone in masks and gloves? Yes. Temperature taken? Yes. Now Amanda cleans my teeth, it's been 15 months. Her usual charming professionalism is right there under multiple face shields. A little extra time, effort and just enough pain later and Dr. Bob Mason comes in to take a look. Everything looks good after my absence.He discusses current and future strategies for me, gives me the green light and says "See you in six months." Typical great experience at Bergen Dental Arts. I recently became a patient at Bergen Arts Dental. What a wonderful experience I had on my first visit. From Denise at reception to my hygienist Amanda to Dr. Kristen I could not have been happier with my treatment.. Professionalism and courtesy from start to finish. Who says this? "I'm looking forward to going to the dentist again!"

My wife and 2 children have been friends and patients of Dr. Mason for 30 yrs. My daughter and I have been seeing him for the last 12 yrs. Most peop[le dread going to the dentist and I am among them, but Dr. Mason and his daughter Dr. Kristen are relaxing and reassuring as well as extremely competent.

I was going to them for about 4 years. Never had a problem until i had to have a cavity filled. They over drilled and thought they hit a nerve. sent me home with a card to another dentist (temp filling). I was told i needed a crown and or to remove the tooth. I had all of my teeth and was in shock. I found out they never hit the nerve but needed the tooth filled properly. They never contacted or followed up with me. I found a specialist who looked at the tooth said it could be filled and filled it. I will never go back to Bergen Arts again.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Mason's office for over 35 years and when we moved to Forked River which is exit 74 on the Parkway over 20 years ago, we continued with him because he is an excellent dentist and his office staff is beyond compare. He is kind and explains every detail to you, and for me this is a source of confidence, because I truly hate dental work. I started going to him when he had a small office, so he has to be good because I am a terrible patient when it comes to being apprehensive and he makes you feel at ease. As far as we are concerned you could not ask for a better dentist and his staff.

Dr. Mason and his staff have ALWAYS been the best to me and my family. We would never go anywhere else. My daughter's teeth look amazing after her braces... she is so happy !

I highly recommend Dr. Mason.. He is a genuinely and caring dentist. His staff is the must friendly I have met. Dr. Mason replaced four of my frontal porcelain over mental crowns that were starting to look awful and five molars. I did not have any discomfort during the procedure. Im so please with the result and thankful to him, now I can smile with confidence. Moreover, Dr.Mason's dental prices are very reasonable compared to other dentist. Most important is the quality of the beautiful dental work I'm so proud of.

I have been going to Bergen Arts Dental for many years. Dr. Mason and his staff make going to the dentist like going to visit old friends every six months, and by the way, they take excellent care of my teeth. I went for a checkup last week. Nothing has changed...Still the Best!

I have been a patient of Dr Mason for almost 40 years. At 16 I had such a fear of dentists from encountering painful experiences. Dr Mason changed that! He is very patient, informative & extremely gentle. Even after I moved out of the area, I still go back for cleanings & any dental issues to this day. My entire family goes. The office is comfortable, updated & CLEAN which is extremely important to me. The most friendly, accommodating & professional front office staff too. But, NO ONE beats Anna, my hygienist. Most importantly, Dr Mason & his colleges are very honest & intelligent. Always reeducating themselves on updated procedures. I have had almost everything done through the years - e.g. braces, fillings, root canal, bonding, wisdom teeth, cleanings all pain free & beautifully done. Going to the dentist (Dr Masons office) is actually something I look forward to. How many people can say that?
