Dr. Christian S. Berdy was born in France and moved to the United States with his family at the age of seven. He received his B.A at the University of Colorado and his dental training at the University of Illinois. From there, he served in the United States Navy as an officer from 1968-1973. Afterwards, Dr. Berdy received his specialty training in periodontics at the University of North Carolina. In 1975, Dr. Berdy moved his family to Jacksonville where he joined the practice of Drs. Frank Scott, Walter Watson, and Richard Miller, which was originally founded in 1938. Dr. Berdy is the only remaining doctor of this historic practice that was renamed Berdy Dental Group in 2016.
Dr. Berdy is also a nationally recognized speaker for advanced periodontology, dental implants, and comprehensive patient care. He has served as a featured speaker numerous times for societies that include the Philippine Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Northeast District Hygienists Society, and many more. He recently received an Award of Merit for his involvement with advancing patient care and promoting continual patient education.
He also gives back to the community by working alongside his son and business partner, Dr. Cary Berdy, to support the local Veterans Administration and by making regular international mission trips to help those who do not have access to dental care.

I am so grateful for Dr Berdy. I had a gum procedure & tooth extraction today and didn't feel pain. As a matter if fact, I'm not experiencing any pain after 5 hours. Only had Ibuprofen. Made me comfortable throughout the whole process. He and entire staff are so sweet. They are the very best.

Upon entering the establishment everyone there had a smile on their face greeted me with her hello and asked if they could help me the staff is very very customer service oriented. After I fill out my paperwork it was a short wait before they took me back to do my scan they had to do had it done and the disc to take to my other dentist and less than 15 minutes great service

Need I have to say more? Dr Berdy and his team are the best at what they do!! Their coordination teamwise seems as if they are able to read each others minds. His team jumped through hoops and loops and got me aproved for serious treatment...They gave me my smile back, when all my hopes were gone... Dr Berdy's Mastery is not the only thing he immediately transpires, but also his understanding and generosity, his high quality as a human being hence his team being a rwflexion of it. I just to mentioned a few of the many qualities I have no doubt the posses. It is refreshing and examplary,and even inspiring. When was the last time you feel like that about a dental appointment!?. My first time to visit, starting on a multiple event process. I was truly impressed by the technology they use, and I'll make another entry first week of September, continue for 2-3 mos, until I'm finished. First impression is, I'm gonna be a happy leedle boy when I'm finished. I'm very optimistic.

I had an emergency and I called Dr. Berdy's office. Marsha was able to get me an appointment within two hours of my call. These people are the best. I wouldn't consider using no other dentist but the Berdy Group.

From the beginning to the end Berdy Dental grp has given us excellent Customer service ,from the time you walk into the door until u Check out ..My Son and I both had dental work done ..My Son can't stop talking about the staff & the Dr's and how they made him comfortable throughout the whole process.His smile is so Amazing I am glad we chose Berdy dental group..Such a friendly Atmosphere.
