Dr Berdichevsky is very professional doctor. He is very patient and truly listens to his patients. I had a very complicated case with some of my teeth and many dentists over many years couldn't figure out the issue and he fixed my problem in no time. I had an absolutely positive experience and highly recommend this doctor. Diligent and knowledgeable. The staff are very helpful as well and the clinic is very clean.

The filling in my tooth came out 6 times within a year span and the most recent visit the dentist told me to "just leave my teeth as is" with the cavities not filled since they don't really hurt. I explained that food gets stuck in between the teeth and gum and I don't like it so he filled it again but told me to leave the other two exposed cavities as is. The recent filling isn't a good filling. I will be going to new dentist.

The doctor yelled at me in thick Russian accent "relax, Relax , RELAX!" Arguments erupted agomg what are clearly family working together. Entertainment value? Five star Actually good dentistry? Uhmmnm... The system only allows one star

The experience with this dentist was - the word that comes to mind -- barbaric. He gave a minimal shot of nova cane to extract a broken molar. Usually after the nova cane is administered, the dentist will wait for the numbing to take effect. That was not the case here. He went ahead and started the extraction right away. The tooth was not yet numb and he literally "yanked" the tooth from my jaw. The tooth had a very long root. The whole procedure was extremely fast and excruciatingly painful. I went there with a very swollen jaw but I was not given any type of antiseptic, antibiotic or anything for pain. I left with no after care instructions. He put into my hand am unwrapped paper product to put into the wound to stop bleeding. It was the crudest dental experience I have ever been experienced. I would NOT recommend this dental office to anyone. I would not even bring my dog to that office for dental work.

I normally do not write negative reviews, but felt like I should share my experience with this office. I called to schedule a new patient appointment, and the man on the phone gave me a time to come in. He didn't even ask for my name or phone number, and when I offered to provide this information he said "no, it's ok we'll just see you then." Weird, but went in for my appointment anyways. The waiting room was crowded (no social distance measures being enforced) and one patient did not have a mask nor was she asked to put one on. I filled out the paperwork given to me by the receptionist and returned it to her. My paperwork with all of my personal information including SSN and medical history was left on the front counter for anyone to see. Pretty sure that's a HIPPA violation. Nearly an hour later, the receptionist did not even glance at my paperwork, so I collected it and informed her I was leaving, to which she did not express any apology for the wait and seemed relieved that there was one less patient they had to deal with. I found this whole experience to be incredibly unprofessional and a waste of my time. Hopefully they see this review and improve their practices so that new patients feel comfortable and supported in their office.

I had such a bad experience. I called to make an appointment as a new patient . The Dr answered the phone as the dental office then gave the phone to the receptionist. I told her the type of insurance I have and that I would like to make an appointment. She told me the day and time and was about to hang up on me tell I asked do you need my information. She said let me get your name . I spelled it out because my name is different and she rudely said pronounce it and said bye bye. I show up to my appointment where I was greeted by the rude receptionist . They did not take me to the room for about an hour and forty minutes. Where I sat while the Dr. yelled back and fourth to patients and receptionist in another language . The Dr or his helpers had no bedside manners . The equipment was extremely dirty . The Dr . Tried cleaning my teeth while yelling at another patient which he kept hitting my gums with the instrument. I was bleeding all over. I need dental work done and all he keeps asking is what type of insurance I have . It was like he didn't want to help me because of my insurance . I cleaned myself off and he never came to tell me let's make a future appointment for fillings . I had to ask his assistant if I make an appointment or what? She was extremely rude and kept asking about my insurance. So he said to make appointment for filling . So I did . I asked the receptionist how much will I have to pay when I come so I know If I can afford it. She said I don't know it depends on the filling . In a very rude way . Well that doesn't help me . I have been to other dentist and they have told me upfront so I know that I can afford it . There is a lot more I could say but I have wrote enough . What I would like to say is this Dr. was given 5 stars for what ? The whole staff treated everyone bad . Never again . I will always go with my gut feeling. Plus first impressions mean a lot and not one person showed they cared to help me .

I never thought I would give someone a weak review. That all I can say he was supper rude and grumpy. When I was in his office he was rushing me to make a decision and when I said let me think about it. He said I'm not going to do anything for you. He started to clean my teeth without asking me. He only thinks about money. Don't waste your time and money to going to him.

I went to another Dentist and thought I was in good hands, but all they did was tell me what all was wrong with my teeth.....which was not a fact, but a sales technique to get me to do a bunch of things I didn't need to do at this moment. So I went to this Doctor in recommendation of my Father and I am so glad I went here!!! He was all business and focused what was needed now, after only sitting 10-15 minutes in the chair, he fixed the issue I was having and after gave me a deep cleaning and I was in and out. That's what I am talking about, I was so stressed and this doctor relieved me that stress and so fast! Thank You Sir! If I would have listened to the other place I went, they would have waisted days or weeks putting me through the ringer and at the end give me so much issues just to make a extra buck and latter I would have had issues, Plus they try to make me feel I had some big issues, which was not even true. Thanks Doctor!!! god bless, you the Man! I will refer you friends and family! Ahamad M......

I found this dentist office after joining my husband's insurance plan. I have been terrified of dentist ever since a bad experience at 15 years old while getting a root canal and the dentist was rude and dismissive of my pain. Earlier this year I had to have a tooth pulled at another dentist and unfortunately had another bad experience including having a "new" estimated bill brought to me mid-tooth pull that was 3x what was initially quoted to me on the first visit. I was very upset and refused follow-up treatment from them which included a root canal and a bridge as it felt very predatory and dishonest. I found this Dr. Berdichevsky in November and his office finished my work. I received a root canal that was so easy and painless and my need for pain killers was less than 24 hours. I have since had 2 crowns put in and an implant (which also gave me minimal pain afterwards). Everything was explained to me so well and they have given me the very best experience I have ever had at a dentist office, hands down. They were upfront with what my insurance would and wouldn't cover and I knew exactly how much I would need to pay. Yes, the receptionist at the front desk is very brisk and straightforward but that is normal for an Eastern European. They don't mince words and it can come off as rude, but it is not meant that way. I have recommended this dentist to everyone I know!

I CALLED TODAY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE THE DR. BERDICHEVSKY AND I TOLD THE WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE THAT I HAD DELTA DENTAL INSURANCE AS SOON AS HEARD THAT HE HANGED UP THE PHONE. I CALLED AGAIN THE SAME STORY HANGED UP AGAIN! IT SEEMS TO ME THEY LIKE CASH MONEY BUT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THAT! OUR CITY OF WALNUT DESERVES MUCH BETTER THEN THIS PLACE!!

I see why many people gave this place a lower rating as this place is not run with American efficiency/customs. This is however the best and only dentist I go to. He has been working with my family for more than 10 years and will continue to. He did my mom's implants and my root canal and crown as well as fillings for everyone else. Here is the best price you will get and very experienced doctors. Expect to wait at least an hour for your "appointment " and don't be surprised if there may be some miscommunication and need to recall to assert yourself.I drove over an hour and a half to get here because I trust this doctor and I think he is worth it. Despite all these things I still give him 5 stars. I think they prefer cash which if you don't have insurance is fine. The price is lower than what you pay with insurance at another office. You may for straightforward service and experience rather than friendliness. Not for everyone but still always my first recommendation.
