Dr. Ryan Barney grew up in Benson, AZ. He is a Benson High School alumni of the class of 1989. He then served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Argentina. Dr. Ryan Barney attended both Pima Community College and The University of Arizona for his undergraduate education from 1992-1994. He then went on to pursue his graduate degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1999. Dr. Ryan Barney has been practicing dentistry in Benson since 1999 and in Willcox since 2005.

Dalaina is a Benson High School alumni from the class of 1995. She obtained her Associates in General Studies at Pima Community College in 2002. In 2005, Dalaina received her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked with Dr. Barney since January 2006.
In her spare time, Dalaina enjoys traveling, being outdoors and hiking. She loves going on adventures with her husband of twenty years and their two sons, working out and watching her sons play baseball.
Thiel is a Saint David High School alumni from the class of 2001. She obtained her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Pima Community College in 2011 and has worked with Dr. Barney since 2012.
Aaron was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM. He graduated from Capital High School in 1998, after which he served a two year mission for the LDS church in Chile. He then attended Pima Community College, receiving his Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2008. Aaron has workedwithDr. Barney ever since.

Hubby needed a tooth extracted and Dr. Barney did a great job explaining the options and putting the "Big Baby" (my words not the dentist) at ease. The process took less than an hour from evaluation, procedure to walking out the door. Thank you, Benson Family Dental!

Whoever is making the appointments is very rude and short. Was very confusing on appointment days and short and obviously irritated with me. sorry I seemed to ruin your life with making an appointment with you .. definitely not a people person..

Not just Arizona's best, one of America's best, staff is prompt and friendly. Dr. Barney is very helpful with any questions. Great with the kids also. Very relaxing atmosphere. Recommended for everyone.

Twice this past year I showed up at Benson Family Dental with an emergency and on both occasions, Dr Ryan and his staff saw me the same day and took care of the problem allowing me to travel. The prices are also reasonable. I recommend this dentist.

Dr. Barney and the techs are very nice and helpful, however Nesa the admin is very rude and lazy. When I first made an appointment she wanted my ssn, thats why the insurance company provides a number so we dont have to give out our ssn. Then the admin wanted to collect more money than the Dr informed me I would have to pay out of my pocket. When this was discussed she "Nesa" rudely told me the Dr doesnt run this office, she does. She also was talking about me in front of other patients in the waiting room, then looked at me and said, yes I'm talking about you. Very professional, very rude woman. I received my paperwork back from the insurance company 2 weeks ago and the office still has not sent me a check for the amount over that I paid up front. I had to call and ask for it...Hmmm...this woman has a bad attitude and I'm positive it will eventuall reflect on the business if it hasnt already.

Visiting the area and had a recently placed implant crown come off. Called Benson Family Dental and they were able to get me in and glue the crown back onto the implant. Nice staff and very accommodating with a hefty fee of $184.
