Dr. Scott Bennett was born and raised in the Westminster area. He attended Regis Jesuit HS and then studied for two years at Creighton University in Omaha before coming back to finish his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Colorado-Boulder.

Dr. Scott went to the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center for dental school. He has many interests outside of dentistry including ice hockey, ultimate frisbee, golf, skiing, and reading, just to name a few. He has also been involved in youth sports through coaching baseball, basketball and hockey. He is a former board member with the Hyland Hills Foundation and a former member of the Westminster Rotary Club where he served as Club President in 2010-11. He is involved with Colorado Dentistry for the Handicapped and volunteers his time for KIND, an organization dedicated to providing dentistry for less fortunate children.

Dr. Kirsten West-Bennett was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. She attended the Punahou School and then went to theUniversity of Delawarefor one year before finishing her undergraduate degree in Communications at theUniversity of Colorado-Boulder. Dr. West went to theUniversity of Colorado Health Sciences Centerfor dental school. She has many interests outside of dentistry including skiing, reading, and travel. She is also involved with many community activities and is the proud mother of her three sons: Brennan, Alden & Dustin.

The Bennett Dental Group is the evolution of the practice started by Dr. James M. Bennett. Dr. B practiced in the north metro area for over 40 years. He was born in Clearwater, NE and eventually went to the University of Nebraska for both his undergraduate and dental degrees. He moved to Colorado in 1961 and started his own private practice. In 1977, he was one of the doctors involved with the construction of the Cedarwood Square complex located at 80th and Sheridan in Westminster. Over the years, Dr. B. has been involved in many civic endeavors. He was in charge of the Tri-County dental office which provided dental care for the less fortunate. He was a long- time member of the Westminster Rotary Club. He has served on the Colorado Ethics/Peer review board. He was a board member with the Hyland Hills Foundation. Unfortunately, Dr. B passed away in May of 2007. He left behind a legacy of community service and a commitment to quality dentistry. He is sorely missed and his spirit will always be present at the Bennett Dental Group.
