Dr. Benko, Sr. was born in Brooklyn, New York, and lived there until the family relocated to Pennsylvania. Once here, Dr. Benko attended Seven Sorrows elementary school and Bishop McDevitt High School. Dr. Benko completed his undergraduate studies at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, and continued to the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine to complete his education. He served as a Captain in the dental corps of the 316 State Hospital Army Reserve for 4 years, followed by serving 4 years as a Captain in the dental corps of the PA National Air Guard 192. Dr. Benko is a past president of the University of Pittsburgh Central PA Alumni Associates, and past president of the Central PA Golden Panthers. Opening his first practice in Middletown in 1969, Dr. Benko has served Middletown, Elizabethtown, and the surrounding communities for 40 years. Dr. Benko and his wife, Debbie, enjoy spending time with their granddaughters Jackie and Abby; daughter Rebecca; and son Dr. Michael Benko, Jr. When not in the office, Dr. Benko enjoys float fishing on the Yellowstone River and its tributaries, and hunting and hiking the Beartooth Mountains in Montana.
Dr. Benko, Jr. was born in Londonderry township and is a Lower Dauphin graduate. Dr. Benko, Jr. attended the University of Pittsburgh for both undergraduate and graduate studies. Dr. Benko, Jr. graduated dental school in 2001 and has been practicing in central Pennsylvania ever since. Dr. Benko, Jr. is married to Dr. Kathleen Benko, who is also a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. As a family with two young daughters - Jacqueline and Abigail - the Benkos enjoy spending time with family in New York state and the shore points in Delaware.
Jason is a New York native. He graduated from school in Rochester, New York in 2005. He is licensed and has worked in Vermont, Colorado, Oregon, and Pennsylvania. Jason is an avid outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with his family and tinkering with many different projects.
Rochelle has been in the dental field since 1986 first as an assistant and now as a hygienist. She graduated from Northampton Community College with an associates degree in 2002. Rochelle has been with Benko & Benko Associates since 2010, and takes continuing education courses to keep up with the changes in dentistry. Rochelle lives in Mount Joy and loves spending time with her husband, her 12 year old son Collin, and 10 year old daughter Shay. In her spare time, Rochelle raises full-bred Ragdoll cats and volunteers at Waterstreet Rescue Mission.
From routine dental exams, dental X-rays, dental cleanings, filling cavities, and minor dental surgery to more advanced procedures such as teeth whitening, dental implants, crowns, and other cosmetic and restorative dental procedures.
In addition to dental cleaning and checkups, we offer cosmetic dentistry services such as porcelain veneers, porcelain inlays, dental bonding, tooth contouring and reshaping, crowns, teeth whitening, dental bridges and tooth-colored fillings.

Had been going to this practice for about 15 years. Was a good practice when Benko Sr. was running the show. Went downhill fast when Benko Jr took the reigns, as he is condescending and belittling. Had to go back 4 times in two months to reattach a crown that kept coming off.

This office is terrible to deal with. Very unhelpful and condescending when questions are asked. This is an old view from the staff that the doctor is above everyone. I would not recommend this dentist.

Filled my teeth wrong now one has broken exposing the nerve. Rude staff and Dr's I'm never going back I'd rather let my teeth rot....

This place is absolutely amazing. My daughter had her first cavity filled with them and their patience was something I am truly grateful for. I am a first time mom and feel so overprotective over my daughter but trust them fully. They interacted with her and knew all the right things to say. I highly recommend Benko & Benko!!

One of the worst dental offices I have ever been to! When the dr shows up late for an afternoon appointment! And you have to ask them how they are doing today? And their response is I'm running late! He told me they are no longer prescribing opioids like im a junky when you just need an abscess tooth pulled! Maybe it's time to hang it up! He told me the tooth was tough to extract? The only good thing the dr did was referred me to a dentist office who can actually perform their job! I will never go there again!! Horrible experience!!!

My mother has been in horrible jaw pain for nearly a week. She requested a referral for oral surgeon and was promised they would be open until 5 for her to pick up the paperwork; the girl she spoke with promised to have it all ready for her. She left work early just to get there in time and arrived at 4:45. The office was completely locked up and closed. I've never seen such lack of respect or concern for a patient.

Nice little office, comfortable setting. Teeth cleaning good, I don't know what the previous reviewers are talking about, cleaning was thorough and hygientist was very nice. Went to Etown Dental Associates and after they royally screwed up my mouth, Dr. Benko was tasked to fix it. High quality materials, best in technology and IMO, the best dentist in Etown.
