I am a California Native, born in Modesto, and I shortly thereafter moved to Santa Cruz. My high school years were spent in the San Jose Los Gatos area. I graduated from UC Berkeley in 1978 with a degree in bacteriology. I met my wife Wendie Morin that same year at Berkeley and we have been together ever since. She is a huge reason that I have been successful in my practice and in my life.
Growing up with immigrant parents, I witnessed firsthand the obstacles that come with navigating an unfamiliar society where language and customs are new. My family moved quite a bit as my parents tried to find and maintain stable jobs. I was born in Hayward, raised in Queens, NY and moved to multiple cities in between until my family finally settled in the Sacramento Area.
We were one of the first dental practices in California to adopt the newest dental license, so our assistants are up-to-date on all of the most modern and innovative techniques in the field. Whether they are working on creating a tooth-colored filling or providing you with a root canal, they will always ensure your comfort and treat you with friendliness and respect.

The best experience I've ever had at a dentist office. Cheri did a great job cleaning and examining my teeth and the doctor explained and showed in great detail what was wrong and the best way to make repairs I highly recommend Benicia Family Dentistry

Absolute amazing, which is a weird thing for me to say about a dentist. Dr Parish and Monica were very kind and made be feel totally comfortable despite having a lot of anxiety about the dentist. Highly highly recommend, especially to anyone who has anxiety about going to the dentist.

I called in the morning after I unexpectedly lost a crown the evening before. I was in by the afternoon and they completed the entire procedure for fitting me with a new crown within an hour and a half. I have an appointment to receive the new crown in just over two weeks. As usual the entire staff was efficient, polite and exceptionally skilled. There is not better dental care!
