We are thrilled to welcome the newest addition to our clinical team, Dr. Kayla Bateman!She was born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Notre Dame, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and became an avid college football fan. Thereafter, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University, where she was a peer mentor, assistant professor, and was a two-time recipient of the Dean's Research Award. Following her NYU Doctorate, Dr. Bateman attended a General Practice Residency at Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital, which was focused on the treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Bateman then moved to Nevada, where she attended a three-year residency program to specialize in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Roseman University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Kayla and her husband Josh are super excited to be part of the Fort Lauderdale family with their two little ones! Prior to joining the Benedetti Ortho team she was living with her family in Nevada and is ready to join us here in South Florida! In her spare time Dr. Kayla loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling with her little ones and watching Notre Dame football!
We are very excited to have Dr. Tim Ellis join the team at Benedetti Orthodontics! Dr. Ellis graduated top of his dental class at the University Of Florida. After UF Dr. Ellis received his Orthodontic certificate from the University of Tennessee Dental School. Before joining our team, Dr. Ellis owned and operated a very successful orthodontic office in Lakeland, Florida for over 30+ years!
Dr. Ellis sold his practice in Lakeland, Florida to help conduct research for OrthoClassic, the manufacturer of the Pitts 21 brackets that we use here in the office. Dr. Ellis and Dr. Benedetti have been great friends for years and have during that time have studied and researched the same aesthetic orthodontic techniques!

Wow! There are no words to express how grateful my family and I are to have found Dr.Benedetti and her awesome team. From our very visit Dr.Benedetti and her team have treated us like family. Their customer service and work is amazing!!! Just about every day my daughter gets a compliment on how beautiful her teeth are ,I can honestly say that we are so glad we decided to make the drive to her office and mold my daughters smile to be picture perfect. If you are looking for the perfect Orthodontist look no further you already found her !!! Thank you Dr.Benedetti and team !

Dr. Benedetti and her staff are a team of well-coordinated and articulated individuals. Dr. Benedetti surrounds herself with a staff who is efficient, well trained, and skilled yet remains jovial and warm individuals. Every technician, in addition to the Doctor herself, offers knowledge and technique fluid in between friendly and casual conversation From coordination for appointments to execution and performance during visits, the team is well-coordinated among themselves, yet a doctor is never far out of eyesight. Usually, Dr. Benedetti herself can be seen and her laughter is usually bouncing over the humming of conversations and the whizzing of her techs' tools as she interacts with each patient and oversees each visit to ensure the treatment plan is followed and adapted to new development over the course / schedule. She makes a point to explore all possible options for the client and even finds creative alternative methods which adapts to her patient's needs and consideration. She is more than just a doctor as she remains a human and empathetic being conscious and understanding. Take a walk into her modern facility, accentuated with clean lime greens and shades of blue against the bright enamel white paint of her facility's wall and you will see that her approach to her craft extends beyond her patients and her staff but also the environment she builds for herself. To dr. Benedetti and staff, Thank you for your excellent service and experience. Excellent Dr. ... or better yet ... in my opinion Dr. Benedetti is best orthodontist ever ... I was over 50 years old when Dr. Benedetti realigned my teeth without a must needed maxillofacial surgery (due to my protruding lower jaw). Finally, after decades I can bite without problems. What Dr. Benedetti has done for me ... is to make a impossible dream come true and I will be forever thankful to her and her team. All the people that work for Dr. Benedetti are top notch ... but I do have to mention another dentist/Orthodontic named Rogerio who is also part of her team because he is just beyond outstanding ... when I go to Benedetti Orthodontics I feel like I am part of a Big Family. Thanks ... Gracias ... Obrigada!!!

A little about me. I had spent most of my teenage years and young adulthood with the most jacked up teeth you can imagine. Twisted, crammed together, some still under the gum. I can't explain how hard it was to smile and not feel bad at the same time. Benedetti Orthodontics gave me a normal life. When I first got my braces on it was tough, but they prepared me for what was to come. A few broken brackets later (sorry!) I understood what I was doing. I have been going here three or four years to correct my teeth. I was here when they had their old office down the street. The location changed but their excellent staff and customer service stayed with them. Everyone here is so friendly and joyful. The staff will tell you straight up if you're not following directions and they really show they care. They honestly feel like a family and I would recommend just stopping by and talking to Dr. Benedetti just to get more info on what's right for you. She's super down to Earth and a pleasure to be around. I use to joke with my friends about how, "my braces are an investment in my self-esteem." I can't begin to tell you how much that rings true now that my braces are off and I have nice, straight, teeth.

Simply the best! Beautiful, modern, and welcoming facility. Amazing staff - incredible how they treat their little patients! And most importantly, Results. The transformation from where our child entered their offices to the end result just 15 months later was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend Benedetti.

Love Dr. Benedetti and her team! At 58, I had terrible TMJ. My dentist and orthodontist in South America advised pulling 4 teeth and putting on braces. After several consults I followed their advice. Upon my return to the US I consulted with 5 different orthodontists, all of whom agreed that my case was mishandled. Fortunately, I found Dr. Benedetti. The examined all the options and came up with the best strategy to FIX the situation. I am thrilled with the results, my TMJ is under control, and I am looking forward to switching to Invisilign in a couple of months. Her team is always friendly, professional, and well trained. Her office runs like clockwork: it sets an excellent example for any medical office. I recommend Dr. Benedetti with heartfelt gratitude and broad toothy SMILE!!!

Dr. Benedetti/Dr.Ovy and their staff are amazing! They have a beautiful office! And they always run on time, everyone is super friendly and they have by far the best assistants! I want to give a little shout out to Elizabeth! I instantly got positive vibes from her after she introduced herself! You can tell she loves her job, and she really knows what she's doing! She was so nice and very thorough explaining to my niece how she will wear/ take care of her Invisalign! She made sure we didn't leave the office without knowing how to put on and take off the aligners! And of course the rubber bands! We are happy to say we feel comfortable here and Elizabeth made us feel as if we are part of the Benedetti family! She was opened to hear about our family history and shared a little about her self! Overall my first impression is that they really have caring assistants and that's what really matters in a office. Also thank you DR. Ovy and Elizabeth for making my first visit with my niece one to remember! 100% highly recommend going here!

Dr. Benedetti and her Staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They have all new technology, imaging, scheduling and check-in, yet an old school mind-set on time and attention to each patient. You are not just a number, you feel more like family. Every time we walked in the door, we were greeted by every member of the staff. They know my Son by name and always show an avid interest in what's going in in school and extra curricular activities. The care and service we receive is above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Come to Benedetti Orthodontics you will be glad you did, I know we are.
