Dr. Helene Shapiro has been practicing dentistry since she graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Shapiro pursued her career in private group dental practice in New Jersey, where she gained pediatric and general dentistry experience before moving to Maryland. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Shapiro worked at nursing homes and assisted living communities, providing dental care to the elderly, where she gained extensive experience in extractions and prosthodontics.
Dr. Leili Zamini grew up in the Towson area, graduated with honors from Towson University, and earned her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Zamini was accepted into a prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Miami Veterans Affair Hospital, where she treated veterans and expanded her dental skills in comprehensive treatment planning, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and oral surgery. Dr. Zamini maintains the highest standards in dentistry by using the latest techniques and bringing her patients the most up-to-date information and technology. Her commitment to excellence starts from the moment she meets her patient as she listens to each patient’s concerns and works with everyone to develop the most sustainable, effective, and safe treatment. Outside of the office, Dr. Zamini loves to spend time outdoors with her family and friends. During the summer months, Dr. Zamini spends much of her time enjoying various water sports. In the winter, Dr. Zamini plans a yearly trip to Deep Creek Lake to ski and go hiking. Dr. Zamini, a proud Baltimorean, is a big Baltimore sports fan and grew up attending Ravens and Orioles games. She looks forward to getting to know all her patients and welcomes you to the practice!

Dr H. and her staff is professional and delightful. I almost fell asleep during a root canal. I'm looking forward to my follow-up visit to the dentist, who would've thought?

I was a patient there not anymore I don't know where things went wrong however, I was told that I was mean by the dentist herself Shapiro, you tried to over-charge me and didn't want to reimburse me and you're very unprofessional discussing old and new patients among other things if anyone is Mean it's you actually I feel like you're Prejudice you pick and choose who you're going to service based on their insurance. That's disrespectful and disgusting so if you don't have A1 insurance you get low grade service. You need a Etiquette check in Customer Service. What did you learn in dental school surely not Compassion and Sincerity for humans. I hope you sleep well at night knowing your not being the best you can be.

This is such a wonderful practice. Everyone is professional, the facility is clean and phone calls are answered promptly. Dr. Helene Shapiro is a kind, gentle dentist who I would highly recommend!

My experience was excellent. I always had a bad experience when going to a dentist in the past. The Customer service their is a good one. My Dentist & her Dentist Assistant made me feel comfortable today. She was gentle when doing the work I needed. She asked me thru the process was I hurting & was I okay. I didn't feel a thing & that made feel very good

I am pleased to say that to-date the Staff and Doctors have been very thorough and concise with my daughter's cleanings and explanations of her visits. They have also taken the time to answer all of our questions and are sure to include my daughter's opinions in the conversations as well. This is very important to both of us, since my child is disabled and wants to know that her thoughts matter to everyone else. I must thank them and God for their sensitivity and support. Gretchen

This is by far one of the best dentist in Baltimore. Very relaxed professional and friendly atmosphere. Dr Shapiro is very good at her craft. The most natural looking, lightest, flexible dentures, partials ever. Can't tell where they are placed in your mouth. Blends right in. Beautiful smile again. Try it! They won't disappoint.

I was so afraid of the dentist. Well I went to Dr. Shapiro and when I tell you she made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. Her assistant is amazing. This office is so professional, nice atmosphere and soft music to enjoy while you are there. I will always be a patient of hers. Never felt any pain.

I had a terrible toothache but none of the dentists I called were able to see me (not for a couple of weeks) but then I called Dr. Shapiro and I am so glad I did, she saw me right away and in only a little amount of time toothache was gone! She is now my dentist and I am incredibly grateful with the kindness Dr. Shapiro has shown and given me. Now for once in my life I'm actually excited to go to the dentist.

So grateful I found this dentist. I hate having my teeth cleaned but this was the best cleaning I've ever had! The staff is so friendly and Dr. Shapiro was super thorough and explained everything to me. Best dental care I've ever received. I have recommended all my friends and family to her practice and happy to have found my new dentist!

I love coming to Belvedere Square Dental! After I left my last dental place I was a little nervous about coming here, however they have the nicest people working there and I have never had an issue with their services. I plan on going there for a very long time.
