Dr. Moody attended dental school at the historic Howard University College of Dentistry (HUCD) where he graduated ranked top ten in his class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon International Dental Honor society.
After dental school, he was accepted into orthodontics specialty residency at HUCD and obtained his Certificate in Orthodontics in 2015. He was Chief resident and graduated ranked #1 in his residency class.
An in-person consult will give you an opportunity to discuss your treatment goals with Dr. Moody, as well as tour our state-of-the-art office. At your consult, Dr. Moody will review your medical and dental histories and examine your teeth. He will then recommend a treatment type, explain the treatment plan, and provide an estimated treatment length. During the visit we will also review all financial info, insurance coverages, and provide flexible payment plans. If desired, most patients can start treatment the same day.

I've had braces twice when I was younger and didn't keep up with my retainer. I went to Beltway Orthodontics for Invisalign and had the best experience. It was much easier than braces and the staff is always so friendly and efficient. Dr. Moody is a perfectionist and it was appreciated.

Dr Moody and his staff are professional, prompt, kind and courteous. I was not able to proceed with braces, because of my teeth, but was happy to have had the pleasure of meeting Dr Moody and his staff. I would highly recommend Beltway Orthodontics. Very clean and welcoming office.

I just love Beltway Orthodontics. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Dr.Moody explained everything in a nice and pleasant way. He was very informative and thorough in everything. Tre was the person who was placing on my braces was patient and professional. Dominique who work in the the front always call and check up on me and very helpful.

Beautiful and modern office with a very friendly front staff. Dr. Moody, whom I spoke with on my initial consultation, was very progression, throughout, and informative. I have only gone through the consultation phase but plan to obtain braces soon and am reassured with my first visit.

Second time around having braces and this was a far better experience! Dr. Moody and the staff were professional & knowledgeable but relatable. It was not assumed that I knew everything simply because I had braces before. Very pleasant experience and I'm excited to be under their care for my second braces journey!
