Dr. Timothy Cain, DDS, has lived and worked in the Beloit community his entire life. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1980. Since then, Dr. Cain has spent the last forty years providing the Beloit area with exceptional dental care. He is also a member of the Rock County Dental Society.
Since he has been in practice for so long, Dr. Cain considers it a great pleasure to work with several generations of families to improve and maintain their oral health. He takes inspiration and pride from watching patients he treated as children grow up into adults and begin families of their own.
Dr. Cain believes in a realistic approach to oral health. He and his team work to create realistic, reasonable plans for long-term oral health, free from the excesses pushed by corporate dental offices. He encourages regular dental checkups to ensure the best outcomes for patients and their families.
When not in the office, Dr. Cain enjoys spending time with his wife Mary, who he met at Marquette University while getting his degree. They have two children, Tim and Abby, and dote on their Airedale terrier Jackson. He enjoys skiing, golfing, and sailing with his family.

Dr. Tim is an amazing dentist! He has been my dentist for the past 31yrs. I will go to no one else. Yes he had a brother that used to work with him,Dr. Tom ( the mean one) that no longer is part of the business. Dr. Tim is very very personable and patient. He does excellent work and always has. I'm very grateful that I was introduced to him as a kid, down on Pleasent street in 1991. If you're looking for a great place to go, come here! I hope he's in business for another 30yrs

Doesn't accept state insurance/ forward health insurance even though state says they do. Probably should be fixed :(

Dr. Tim has been my dentist for over 10 years and I have had fillings, crowns, a bridge, and root canals done. I couldn't be happier with the level of care he and his staff have provided. They are friendly and my children are okay with going to their dentist even with some shots and drilling.

I have been seeing Dr Tim for well over 30 years. Always professional, always explains what needs done and what the options are. Staff is always friendly and professional. And yes, I would and do recommend him to my friends when asked for a recommendation.

My family has been seeing Dr. Cain forever . I have been a patient of Dr Cain's from childhood to adulthood. Dr Cain has cared for my whole family through the years . He especially cared for me when I had a painful tooth and no other dentist ( I was away at collage at the time ) would listen to me about the pain because they said my x-rays didn't show any problem . Dr. Cain actually listened to me and fixed my painful tooth the same day . The relief I felt was nothing short of amazing after suffering or so long with every other dentist telling me I had no reason to be in pain. I whole heartedly recommend Dr Cain. He is the best and only dentist my family will go to . Thank you for going above and beyond to treat us all over the years Dr Cain.

My 4 year old and I became patients of Dr. Timothy Cain in 1993 when I was referred to him by a co-worker who called him "no-pain Cain" :-). Dr. Cain has always gone out of his way to make me feel welcome, to get me in quickly when I have issues, to ensure I'm comfortable and to take care of the problems without gouging my checkbook. There have been times he could have recommended expensive treatment options but he ALWAYS recommends the ones that are best suited to you even when he could have made more money. My entire family now uses him and my husband who transferred from another provider couldn't believe the difference in the level of service. I would recommend Cranston Family Dentistry of Beloit to anyone.

I've never enjoyed the dentist much but that has changed since I began seeing Dr Cain. Everyone in the office is so kind, friendly and professional, it's very refreshing (especially during COVID times). They always ease my anxiety by taking the time to explain each step. Bonus that my appointments always start on time! Highly recommend Cranston Family Dentistry.

I had been living in the area for a year and a half and didn't have a dentist yet. It was a Friday afternoon and I bit into a sandwich and felt a crunch...it was one of my crowns! It had come off and I had crushed it with my bite (one of my front teeth might I add). I panicked and called the office (which I had never been to) and they had me come in right away! Dr Cain and his staff fixed me right up good as new as well as help entertain my 2 babies while I was getting worked on! I'm a former dental assistant turned stay at home mom so I know a good doctor and staff when I see one!!! Don't walk, RUN to Dr. Cain for all your dental needs!!!

I was a bit nervous visiting the dentist as I had an old crown fail and needed it replaced--The staff were most welcoming and the Dr. did a FANTASTIC job in removing my old crown and replacing it with a new one !!!

Dr. Cain is the best dentist and experience I've had at a dental office. Never like going to the dentist but always feel at ease when seeing Dr. Cain and don't plan on changing that anytime soon! Highly recommend!

I'm not from the area&&needed a lot of work done on my teeth. I went for an evaluation somewhere else first and was quoted an extremely high price. I got a second opinion from dr. Cain &&he effectively located my problem areas and nearly cut my expense in half. I'm beyond grateful for the work he has done for me! Would highly recommend his services for anyone's dental needs.

I really enjoy going to Dr Cain and his staff, very caring and professional staff.Dr Tim noticed something strange at a visit and told me to see a ENT gave me a name and I was diagnosed having mouth cancer. Had surgery and am cancer free so far.Thanks to Dr. Timothy Cain.
