Dr. Gilbert Parrott, DDS earned his first Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University. His second Bachelor Degree in Dental Science, and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery were received from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. During his dental education, Dr. Parrott was a Phi Sigma Society Honorary, and held membership in the American Student Dental Association, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Parrott has practiced restorative dentistry in the Lake View neighborhood of Chicago since 1989, and excels in Cosmetic and Implant Reconstructive Dentistry. He currently holds memberships with the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Lake view Chamber of Commerce. To keep current with the latest dental technologies, Dr. Parrott actively participates in continuing education courses.
Dr. Parrotts family includes his wife, Becky, daughter Halia, and son Edwin. The family dog is Lord Stanley named after his love of hockey and his favorite team the blackhawks. He is an avid catch and release Muskie Angler, skier, camper, and hiker. He also enjoys spending leisure time with his family up at the lake.

It's always nice to see happy and caring faces. I've been going to Belmont dental for a long time. They really take care of you there they also let you know how much something is going to be out of pocket. Really nice atmosphere.

I had my cleaning done with Danielle and she was such a great soul! I will start alternating cleanings between my periodontist' hygienist and now my dentist's hygienist and this time around I was pleasantly surprised with the efficiency and professionalism of Danielle. Godly to say I have the best doctors for my teeth. Love you Belmont Dental.

These people are wonderful. I was in agony with a toothache and have a terrible gag reflex, so can't do bitewing x-rays. They worked with me very patiently to figure out a solution (using a bitewing-like setting on the panoramic x-ray, if you have the same issue), helped me make a plan for treatment (even though the problem required I go outside their practice to resolve), and gave me the referrals I needed for relief. Dr. Zaim and the whole staff deserve huge thanks, and I will definitely come back for routine maintenance and treatments.

I've only been to Belmont Dental Care three times so far, each visit within the last three weeks, and it has been incredible. The staff is kind, efficient, and proficient as well. And if my scheduled appointments within three weeks wasn't evidence enough, I have to point out how accommodating they are with scheduling appointments. Two of those appointments weren't supposed to be until early September, and within a few days of the initial scheduling, they contacted me about to move them up as soon as space cleared up. Overall it has been a very positive experience, and after my third cavity filling coming up, I will be looking forward to my hygienist visit in 6 months.

I have been going to Belmont Dental for over 15 yrs. At 1st i was hesitant but my ex convinced me to go & i agreed. It was one of the best decisions ive ever made. They have had a few different staff members but damm, they have all been so professional. I quess itz a credit to Dr Parrot and his desire to have patients be #1. Dr Joe is also up there. Ive had different hygienist but Danielle ? Abby have been gr8. Also Nubia also was helpful with my nti when i needed adjustments. GREAT TEAM THERE. THEY SEEM TO WORK GR8 2GETHER.

I don't often write reviews, but when I do it is because it's it really bad or perfect. In this case my experience was top notch, the amount of time and attention I received was unlike any other dental experience before. Detailed explanation with visual examples of what my dental situation looked like was a first for me. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new Dentist.

The entire experience at Belmont Dental is amazing. Their professionalism via follow-up, care and competence is exceptional. They have taken care of our entire family for over 10 years now and there has never been a misstep. Even when they make a referral they offer spot-on advice, point us in the right direction and allow any procedure in or out of their offices to be worry free. They are the best!!

If you have anxiety about the dentist, this is the one for you! Dr. Parrot and all of the staff were so accommodating about my extreme dental anxiety. I had nitrous for my cleaning and the dental hygienist recommended I throw headphones on if I wanted. This really helped and I haven't had an easier dental appointment. They took a picture of each individual tooth and we looked at and talked about each one. I thought this was overkill while they were taking the pictures but then going over every single tooth with Dr. Parrot really got rid of any lingering anxiety I had about all my teeth rotting out :) Excellent new patient deal and great pricing thus far. Very pleased with my new dentist.
