Since first beginning his career, Dr. Collins has incorporated the latest technology into his patient care. Through ongoing professional development and peer groups, he keeps his finger on the pulse of new and evolving treatment options, such as dental implants, aesthetic dentistry, and Invisalign.
His advanced skills in comprehensive cosmetic procedures, gives him the expertise required to treat a broad range of problems that other dentists might refer to outside practitioners. Ultimately, his goal is to provide the highest quality care in a comfortable and caring environment.
After an intensive general practice residency at St. Josephs hospital in Denver, he joined an established Lakewood practice, which he took over in 1997. He grew the practice into the high-tech and professional Belmar Park Dental Care that patients know today. Dr. Collins and his wife, Lynette, have three children, and together they enjoy Colorados many outdoor sports.
I've been going to Belmar Park Dental Care and seeing Dr. Collins for a few years now. My dental history is significant for someone under 40. I feel like I'm a high maintenance patient and I definitely get some wild anxiety before dental visits. Dr. Collins shines in his ability to craft a solid treatment plan, explain all of the available options, and put my mind at ease. The work I've had done so far is holding up beautifully and I'm the most confident in my dental health that I have been in years.
Dr. Suslik went to Virginia Tech for undergraduate where he received a bachelors in Biology and Biochemistry. From there he attended Virgina Commonwealth University for dental school and spent an extra year completing an AEGD at University of Texas where lots of focus was placed on dental implant placement, and oral surgery.
I have always had great experiences at Belmar Park Dental Care but most recently was seen by Dr. Suslik and had a lot of anxiety about a procedure I needed done. He was so patient and calming and truly made something (that I had been putting off for 10 years!) so easy. I highly recommend seeing him!
I grew up in Littleton, CO but am originally from Iowa. I have been with my husband for the past 40 years and together we have two children, a boy, and a girl. Both are now grown and have families of their own.
The greatest gift is the gift of giving and I have always felt that if you could make someone happy in a place they dont want to be, doing something that they dont really want to be doing you are giving an amazing gift. Over the course of my dental career (39 yrs) this gift has only grown!
The best part of my job is helping others. Educating them about their oral health. When you stay at one office has long as I have (over 15 yrs at Belmar Park Dental) the patients become an extension of your family, you look forward to seeing them, youre sad when they are sad and youre excited for them when they are rejoicing.

I cherish the peace and quite we enjoy due to living away from the city. We get to enjoy morning coffee with local wildlife and sunsets, life is good! We share our property with dogs, chickens and all the beautiful birds that also enjoy our area.
My grandkids are my world. I love being their Grammie! I also enjoy gardening, reading, rowing and hiking. I love to drive, which means I also love to drive fast cars! Baseball is my favorite sport, I love that it is a team sport but also a one-on-one sport.
I moved to Colorado 7 years ago looking for a change. I grew up in a small town from Kansas and lived in Tulsa, OK for 14 years before moving to Colorado. I love to travel and spend time with family and friends. I also love taking new adventures in life.
Working out to have a healthier life has become a new passion of mine. I like hanging out with friends after work to laugh and have a good time. I do have a little bit of a travel bug, and try to travel whenever I can. I would love to travel the world and have an adventurous life.
I have been in the dental field since 2012. I started out in a pediatric office and have also worked in a speciality office helping with full mouth rehabilitation. I joined the Belmar Park Dental Care team in 2019 and am so grateful to have found such an amazing group of people to work with.
I have a puppy named Gummy who really knows how to keep me busy. I also enjoy dancing, hiking, exploring new places, and learning new languages. When those things dont keep me busy enough I also enjoy working out, spending time with friends and watching Turkish series.
I started in dentistry in 1998 as a sterile tech and quickly moved up to assisting and then on to doing expanded duties assisting. After volunteering abroad in 2004 and 2005, I decided to take the next step in my career and apply for dental hygiene school.
I attended Community College of Denvers Dental Hygiene program from 2007 to 2009 and graduated with honors. Before I graduated I decided that I wanted to work for a funny dentist who not only does excellent work, but also treats his patients and team with respect, and is close to my home so I could run to work when the weather is nice. Someone must have been listening to my plan, because I quickly landed here at Belmar Park Dental Care in June 2009. I found all of those features in this office and more. I love my job and the people I work with, and plan to stay here until I retire!
I spend my spare time doing things with my son, enjoying any outdoor activity and running races! My son and I love to camp, hike and we visit parks frequently along with lots of swimming and paddleboarding. This summer we plan to golf and get into archery!
I grew up in beautiful Coeur dAlene, Idaho and have called Colorado home now for 5 years. I met my husband shortly after moving here and we have been married for almost two years now. We are enjoying being new home owners with our golden retriever, Sebastian.
I have been intrigued with teeth practically my entire life! From a young age I wanted to be an orthodontist. I found braces to be so fascinating and couldnt wait to have a set of my own. As I learned more about dental professions, I changed paths knowing that being a dental hygienist was the right direction for me.
The best part of being a dental hygienist is helping to educate patients and watching people actively want to engage in making oral health changes. When patients come back excited about how their teeth feel and all that they have been doing is very rewarding.
I originally got into dentistry because I wanted to help my patients achieve better oral health. I used to be an avid non-flosser so I know the struggles my patients go through. I wanted to be able to show them that if I can do it, they can do it too!
When it comes to dentist visits I am a certified dentophobic, but the entire team at Belmar Park Dental Care make the experience easy (almost even enjoyable). They have gotten me back in the game with routine visits and proper care. Special shout out to hygienist Rachael for doing such a great pain free job!
