Dr. Yi grew up in Auburn, Washington. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School with honors, he received Bachelors in Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington. He attended University of Washington Dental School and received Doctor of Dental Surgery(DDS) in 1998.
Dr. Yi has been practicing at Bellevue Dental Care since 1999. He is an active member of American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and Seattle-King County Dental Association. He is also involved with Christian Medical Dental Association and Christian Dental Association.
Currently, Dr. Yi resides in Sammamish with his wife Sandy, four children, and golden doodle named Leonard. He loves spending time with the family. His hobbies include golf, skiing, running, cycling. As you can see he loves all the outdoor activities. Most importantly, he is a professed born-again Christian and travels abroad on mission trips to provide dental care for those in need.
Dr. Mike grew up in Sunnyvale, California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Washington. Following college, he attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1988. He also completed an Oral Surgery externship at the University of Leeds Dental Hospital in 1987.
He is a member of numerous organizations including American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, Christian Dental Society, Christian Medical Dental Association, Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club, and Pankey Study Club.
Dr. Mike regularly travels abroad to perform missionary work all over the world. He has worked in many nations such as Romania, Russia, Jamaica, Kenya, and many more to provide free dental care and to share the love of Christ. Currently, his main focus is in Kenya setting up dental clinics with this family that includes his wife Trisha and four children.
