Dr. Joseph Mason graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the New Jersey College of Dentistry and Medicine. Dr. Mason completed his General Practice Residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey and subsequently opened his practice of general dentistry in Upper Montclair in 1982. In 1997, Dr. Mason received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, (FAGD). He is currently working toward his Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Daniel Leitman is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Summa Cum Laude, Class of 1995. He attended dental school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, graduating in 1998. He completed his General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York, and then stayed on for an additional year of training as Chief Resident with an emphasis in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry.
She is a graduate of The Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine and was selected from a large group of applicants to do her hospital general residency at Mountainside Hospital, which she has just completed.

Best dental experience ever. I've had cleanings by 2 different hygienists in their office, both excellent and even made them enjoyable as they are gentle yet thorough, and so pleasant. The dentist is thorough and even said the 4 cavities a previous dentist planned to fill, were superficial and didn't need to be treated. Highly recommend them.

You've landed at the only review that matters. Stop searching for a dentist and make an appointment. You're welcome. In all seriousness, I must've visited damn near every dentist in town. No one's best can match Dr. Leitman on his worst day. Exceptional all around.

Always have a great, smooth experience here. The staff and Dr Leitman so are friendly, respectful, caring and courteous of your time. He does amazing dental work and so painless! The office is run very smoothly and efficiently. Definitely recommend.

I've been Dr. Mason and Leitman' s patient for decades. I have never heard a cross word or a hint of impatience from either doctor nor their staff. I've had all sorts of work done, always being told "We don't want you to feel any pain" and they've been good for it. I can't imagine better dentists.
