Dr. Sharp was born and raised in the Arkansas River Valley. Away from the office, Dr. Sharp enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and daughter at the lake. Dr. Sharp is an avid sports fan and loves to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, and Arkansas Razorbacks.
I have lived in Fort Smith my entire life. My husband and I have been married for 38 years. Our daughter, Laura, is expecting our first grandchild. I enjoy walking, antiquing, and spending time with my family and granddog, Ellie.
I strive to provide high-quality dental care to every patient I treat. I greatly value my patients relationships, and my goal is to always provide a friendly, caring, and comfortable environment. I am committed to helping every patient improve his or her oral health and maintain a healthy smile through life.
My love for dentistry began in 2005, when I first joined Dr. Mortons team as a dental assistant. In 2006, I was accepted into the Dental Hygiene School at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. I graduated in 2008 with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I have been a dental hygienist with Dr. Morton since 2008.
When Im not spending time with my work family, my husband and I have a passion for traveling and being outdoors. I love to hunt, bow fish, and go off-road camping. Some of my favorite places Ive traveled to include Africa, Spain, and Argentina.
I plan to always put my patients first and build long and meaningful relationships with every patient I come into contact with. I will always stay ethical in my clinical decisions and do what is best for my patients and their oral health.
I am a Fort Smith native and plan to stay that way. I graduated high school from Southside High School. I graduated from UAFS in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I have worked for Dr. Morton since 2016.
I got married in 2017 to my husband, Benjamin, and we have one white fur baby German Shepard, Mila. We are very involved in fitness and have both been doing CrossFit competitively for 6 years. We also love socializing and spending quality time with friends and family.
Alissa graduated in 2015 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. She continued her education at Grayson College to receive an Associate's Degree in Dental Assisting in 2016. She has worked in dentistry ever since and loved every minute!
