Dr. Rubina grew up in Southern California and moved to San Francisco for dental school. She graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Pacific. She enjoys the beach, traveling, and watching Netflix. She also spends her time hiking and exploring the outdoors with her husband.Dr. Rubinas motto is to treat patients like family and strive to provide the best dental treatment for her patients. Her goal is to educate patients on oral health and work together as a team to give them a healthy, confident and beautiful smile.
I started out in the dental field in 1986 helping my friend out who was a dentist. Who would have known that I would fall in love with the dental field. Fast forward to today, I have been able to hold every position in the office except dentist. I love helping our patients build confidence in their experience with us and within themselves. To overcome their fear of the dentist is a real thing. And that is where my experience comes in. I truly enjoy building relationships with my patients. They arent just patients, they are our dental family.I also have a passion for photography, quilting, archery and my family. Im blessed with a wonderful husband; three children who have given me at this time 6 BEAUTIFUL grandchildren.
I joined the Bella Vista Smiles team in 2021 and my role is to help patients get the most benefits from their insurance and help them with their billing and claim questions. If you have any questions regarding your insurance, I am here to help you! When I am not assisting patients with their questions or handling the billing of our office, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Louis Vuitton and Coco Chanel.
I began my dental career as a dental assistant in 1996. I moved on to become an RDA and worked for 8 years until I decided to become a hygienist. I graduated from dental hygiene school in 2006 and have enjoyed serving my community ever since. My hobbies include wine tasting and spending time with my family.
I started in the dental field 15 years ago. I graduated from Sacramento City College with an Associates in Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I was born and raised in Guam and moved to California to pursue a career in dentistry. What I enjoy most about dentistry is seeing a patient fall in love with their smile! In my spare time, I love to travel, and spend time with my husband, our daughter and our two doggies.
I recently moved to California in 2017 where I became a RDA. I am originally from Boston and I still call it home. I have been in the Dental Field for 17 years and I have a passion for the field and loves what I do. I came to California for the sun, my significant other and three kids. When I am not working at Bella Vista Smiles, I love walks outside, singing (but she can't sing) and traveling!
I have been a Dental Assistant for the past 2 years and I am aspiring to become a Dental Hygienist. I have previously lived in Sonora, and recently had a baby boy named Mason. I love spending time with my son and family. I truly enjoy exploring my new hometown of Lincoln, socializing, and connecting with local moms.

I have always enjoyed going to the dentist since I started coming to Bella Vista Smiles. They always give me a feeling of belonging. Like I am part of their family and they're happy to see me, and they care about me and my health. I think I'm starting to appreciate the positive aspect of having a healthy smile. I want to share what an amazing experience my husband and I had at Bella Vista Smiles! They are so kind and take great care of their patients! When we walked in, we were greeted by Kim! She answered every question we had! Love her joy, her smile and all her knowledge in the dental field! The hygienist did a wonderful job as well! Dr Rubina Khorana, you are the sweetest and best dentist I have ever been to! My husband and I are so happy that we left our former dentist, to a practice with people who really show that they care about each person! Thank you for all you do for our community! You are the very best!!

Dr. Khorana is an excellent dentist who really cares about her patients. A more compassionate individual you will not meet. Dr. Nadodovich took extra time and his money to ensure that my bridge not only fit properly but did not create a lisp. It is rare to meet two such special professionals.

I appreciate and love this office and I really really LOVE Sarah and how she cleans my teeth. It always feels so wonderful afterwards. The Kaiser insurance provides very minimal benefits so it doesn't always help people with periodontal disease. The Smiles Savings Plan allows me to take care of my teeth in an affordable way. I want to give Dr. Rubina kudos to make this office whole and the team she has created to provide healthy smiles for her patients. Bella Vista Smiles makes me smile!!

This is one of the BEST dentists I have ever been to. They really care that I'm missing teeth and she working with me to help get teeth to help me eat. I cant ask for a better dentist and her team. It is easy access right off 12 Bridges and 65. You need to check Bella Vista Smiles out for yourself you won't be sorry. The front staff is also courteous and helpful. Thank you so much
