Our doctors, Dr. Lara Perry and Dr. Federico Gonzalez are ready and willing to serve you and the entire family. They both have several years of experience and many different strengths. They are both passionate about dentistry and helping you get the smile of your dreams. We are excited to meet them, as they are both fantastic!
Dr. Perry graduated fromTarleton State Universityin 2001 and continued her education atBaylor College of Dentistry, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2005. Dr. Perry has lived and practiced in Comal and Guadalupe County since 2005 and values the trust of her patients as she strives to provide her community with excellent family dentistry, as well as cosmetic, restorative, and childrens dentistry.
With over 15 years of private practice experience, she provides high-quality dental services through a full range of dental procedures. Through the years, she has participated in and supported organizations such as the American Dental Association, theTexas Dental Association, and theAmerican Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, as well as the Seguin and New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, New Braunfels Rotary Club, and Leadership New Braunfels. Always working to improve and striving to be the best dentist possible, Dr. Perry continues her education with ongoing, annual training programs. These programs allow her to stay current with the newest techniques and technologies available to her patients. Dr. Perry lives in New Braunfels with her husband and her two daughters. She enjoys outdoor activities and playing tennis with her friends on the weekends.
Dr. Gonzalez was born and raised in Mexico. From a young boy, his desire had been to become a dentist. He came to the United States at age 14, immediately after graduating high school in 1992 he joined the US Navy and has been working in dentistry since that time. He began his career in the Navy as a dental assistant and later trained to be a dental laboratory technician. After several years he decided to finally pursue his lifelong goal dream of becoming a dentist.
He received his bachelors degree from Arizona State University and went on to complete a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He served as a Dentist in the Navy where he spent most of his time with the Marine Corps and deployed and served in The Middle East and the Mediterranean. Dr. Gonzalez loves being a dentist because it gives him the opportunity to make a difference in someones life and give them a reason to smile with confidence. He is passionate about his work and it is his sincere desire to provide his patients with the best in dental care and a positive dental experience. Dr. Gonzalez has spent many hours each year attending continuing education courses to keep up to date and is constantly learning. When not in the office he enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years Leah, his twin daughters Elizabeth and Itzel, and son Alejandro. He also enjoys watching sports particularly soccer and college football, reading WWII military history, and is actively involved with his church The Door Christian Fellowship in San Antonio.

I am very pleased with Dr. Perry. She has worked on my entire family from root canals, to fillings, and cleanings. And now she will be looking on my granddaughters teeth. She and her staff are very welcoming and always very kind. I highly recommend her services to all ages.

Terrific staff and excellent care. It took a while to get in the dental chair, but they are getting to be a busy office. It is apparent why - because they listen to your concerns and care about you like real people. I still feel very welcome there after 2 years of using the services. The receptionist Sarah is still there and makes you feel wanted and respected. Darlene is the best hygienist I have ever had.

Dr. Perry and staff are excellent. I had a minor emergency over a holiday weekend. I called and left a message asking to be seen on the next business day. Dr. Perry's staff returned my call on a holiday and scheduled me for the morning of the next business day. Dr. Perry is thorough and professional. She fixed my tooth and I am very pleased with her work!

I made appt and I was able to get in within 1 day. Receptionist was very helpful as I was a new patient. Dr. and nurse were very informative. All office personnel were very nice and friendly.

My first office visit at Bella Vista Dental was great. I loved the staff. They were both professional and personable. Answered my multitude of questions without giving me the impression I was getting on their nerves. They even have blankets for their patients who gets cold while having a procedure done. I saw Dr. Petty, whom was great.

Trust this dentist. Hygienist was running a little late and I was there 30 minutes early.... Didn't mind the wait..... but the music in the waiting room was loud and annoying.

One thing I noticed these last few visits is that there seems to be a lot of staff turnover. One dental assistant was especially new and lacked skills, which caused the dentist to have to do what he had asked her to do. The receptionist Sarah is still there and makes you feel wanted and respected. Dr. Gonzales is excellent and understanding as well.
