Dr. Doris Ladino, who specializes in cosmetic dentistry, is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. She received her postdoctoral training in general dentistry at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center of New York. She has been practicing for over twenty five years and continually attends advanced educational courses to keep up to date with the newest methods and technologies. She has participated in an outreach to the Dominican Republic, where she provided free dental services to the underprivileged.
Dr. Ladino is now a part time faculty dental instructor for the dental clinics at the prestigious NYU College of Dentistry. She is honored to have been asked to join the dental school and is happy to share her knowledge with the future generation.
Because of this experience, she is adamant about bringing similar dental services to her own community and does so by creating events that promote such services to the Jackson Heights area. Dr. Ladino is an active member of the following dental societies: American Dental Association, Queens County Dental Society, New York State Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association and the Spanish American Medical Dental Society of New York. She prides herself on having created an office with a friendly and professional staff that helps promote comfort combined with great service.
Dr. Ladino is patient, honest, professional and empathetic to all patients with different dental histories and experiences. She makes sure patients are comfortable and satisfied with their dental treatment and concerns.
Elbas thirteen years of experience has been a valuable asset to our practice. As the office manager at Bella Smile Dental, her attention to detail, enthusiasm and friendly demeanor helps make sure our practice runs efficiently and successfully. She helps make patients feel welcomed and appreciated.

I am very disappointed by my experience in this office. I went for three different procedures and every single one was done erroneously, and this was confirmed by other professional dentists. I had a root canal treatment done and the material used was too thin to the point that my root was punctured until reaching the bone. She did not take her time with it, and it was done in only 5 minutes, definitely rushed and not how it was supposed to be. Afterwards, I had constant pain and it did not go away. She said it was "healing" and did not see that in the x-rays she had punctured the root nor did she believe me when I told her I was in pain, she did not listen but arrogantly doubts she can make any mistakes. This caused an infection, and when I went to a different dentist, they were able to identify the problem and did their best to fix it by cleaning the infection and redoing the procedure properly, but even then, I may require surgery to fix what Doris did. She is only concerned about rushing through a procedure and claiming the money from the insurance. Today I received the news that the other root canal procedure she did along with a crown she put in was also done erroneously. I implore you to pick a different dentist if you want things done properly. Also, I noticed you reply to all your negative reviews. Please do not share my medical information in your response as you have done with others.

I've been going to bella smile since my early 20s/ I'm 33 now. Going to the dentist always seem like a horrifying experience but in bella smile it's always easy the staff is caring very knowledgeable as well. I'm currently on my invisalign journey with them and I can't wait to see the end results. Also a must is purchasing the whitening gel sticks they sell,I've gotten tons of compliments on how white my teeth are.

Growing up I've always been terrified of the dentist but believe me when I say i've never been so reassured at an office before . Dr Ladino (as well as the front desk staff) are all so knowledgeable in what they do and are so friendly and amazing that I really do recommend anyone coming here (especially those with dental anxiety). Went 2 hours out of my way to come here and I don't regret it.

I am very pleased with my first visit at Bella Smile. Dentist visits have never been easy for me but the staff here at Bella Smile made me feel at ease. The dentist was very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns and educate me. I was seen soon after I arrived and the registration process went smoothly.
