Dr. Alex Shor received a degree in computer engineering from Rutgers University. After spending a few years in that field, he realized that dentistry was his true passion and would also allow him to combine his engineering degree, the artistry of dentistry, and his love of working with people. As a result, he decided to return to school and received his D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Shor has been actively practicing all aspects of general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry for almost 20 years in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Dr. Shor enjoys the practice of dentistry and looks forward to welcoming you to his practices.
Dr. Shor is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Monmouth and Ocean Dental Societies. Dr. Shor is also an active member of the American Academy of Osseointegration, a certified Invisalign provider, and a member of Advanced Dental Seminars, part of the prestigious Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Michael Alkon has been living and working in the Bayshore area for the past 40 years. He is graduate of Brooklyn College and Tufts Dental School. Following his military service he opened his dental practice in Holmdel, New Jersey and joined Bayshore Hospitals staff. Dr. Alkon has been commended for his service to both the hospital and the community.
Balancing work and pleasure, Dr. Alkon enjoys membership in local running clubs and swimming at the shore beaches. He is married to his college sweetheart Penny Kirshner Alkon. His life is filled with children and grandchildren. His plan is to stay productive and remain in NJ for many years to come.
Dr. Benjamin Greenstein completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware where he graduated in 2001. He received his D.M.D. from Rutgers School of Dentistry in 2005 and began his periodontal residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center immediately thereafter. Dr. Greenstein has been practicing periodontal dentistry in Monmouth and Ocean Counties ever since. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Greenstein has authored several publications in dental, periodontal and implant literature. He provides the latest non-surgical and surgical treatment to enhance periodontal health. His patients are apprised of periodontal therapeutic options and consideration is always given to patient preferences. In his spare time, Dr. Greenstein enjoys kayaking, mountain biking, drawing, and hiking.

I brought in my 12 year old daughter, who was anxious about having two cavities filled. It turned out to be quick, easy and painless and we were out quickly. Love the Dentists, hygienists and office team. Great Place! My entire family of 5 are all new patients.

Had my teeth cleaned and this week by Tatania and a dental exam by Dr. Shor. The office staff and doctor all greeted me cheerfully when they saw me in the waiting room. The wait time to be seen was minimal. Tatania was gentle, but thorough. Dr. Shor is a very competent dentist. He has replaced or made new bridges for me in the past. I walked out of the office very pleased as I just had another positive experience at Bella Dental.

Switched our family to Bella Dental in Holmdel and had an emergency weekend appointment in Oakhurst. Both locations were phenomenal in service and customer care. Chelsea, the dental hygienist in the Middletown office, was amazing. She was professional, gentle and very concerned with patient comfort. Five stars!!!
