Dr. Gambella loves taking care of his patients and treating everyone as if they were a part of his own family. His compassion for patients and love for dentistry guides him to educate patients and allow them to make the best possible decisions about their oral health. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a passion for esthetic dentistry.He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and continues to stay current on the best treatment planning and restorative techniques in dentistry.
He attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where he earned a BA in Economics and Chemistry, while preparing for dental school. After graduation, he moved back to North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.
He served four years of active duty service as a dentist in the United States Air Force, two years in a large, family practice in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and the last year alongside Dr. Hanna in Greensboro, NC.
Dr. Gambella and his wife Krista have one son, Dominick and a Beagle named Finley. Dr. Gambella loves spending time with his family as they explore new areas for their toddler to enjoy. Krista and him are excited to put roots down in Greensboro and love everything about their new vibrant city.
Dr. Hanna has been passionately practicing dentistry for 38 years. He is committed to providing high-quality cosmetic dentistry and family dental care in a relaxing, caring and professional environment.
Dr. Hanna attended UNC-Chapel Hill where he graduated with a double major in chemistry and psychology. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS degree, from theUniversity of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1981.
He is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Hanna has maintained a strong commitment to continuing education. As a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), he attends over 50 hours of classes annually. His training in these courses has been with some of the most outstanding aesthetic, cosmetic and reconstruction dentists in the world.
Dr. Hanna and his wife Charlynehave three children, Justin, Alex and William. They also have a standard Yorkshire Terrier named Bowie. He enjoys going to the beach with his family, snow skiing, golf, tennis, gardening, and sailing.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Gambella for 3 years now. Both my daughter and myself have a huge phobia of going to the dentist but this Dr. and his staff are AMAZING!! Always make you feel comfortable and always make sure your doing ok while he's working on your teeth. My daughter recently had some extensive dental work done and by the end of the 3 month process, she was not nervous at all and the results are just PERFECT! I highly recommend this office to everyone!

Dr. Gambella and the entire staff here are amazing! Everyone is always extremely friendly and professional, and I have consistently received amazing care here. I was pretty anxious about getting my first filling and Dr. Gambella was so patient and caring and took time to explain everything to put my worries at ease. It was honestly couldn't have gone any better.

Drs. Gambella & Hanna & the staff have been absolutely exceptional! Had an emergency situation (or two:)) over the past couple months and the staff worked to quickly assist in resolving our dental needs. Shout out to Trina & Paige for managing my multiple calls when my step-son (who wasn't even a patient yet!) needed swift resolution of a broken filling...an just before Christmas, too! You all rock! We so appreciate you!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Excellent service & staff! Dr. Gambella and his staff took excellent care of me and my emergency situation. I am new to the area so I happened to run into this place & good thing I did! I called and received same day care. Dr. Gambella took the time out of his day to do a follow up and reassure the care instructions. Very friendly and welcoming place. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Shana the dental hygienist was great.she has a great bedside personality and explains what she is doing to make you very comfortable.Dr. Gaballa is a new Doctor to me but is very easygoing and pleasant to work with.I highly recommend Bella Dental.

I had the best experience with having my teeth cleaned with Meredith, she's truly the best, I felt like my teeth were clean and WHITE!!! The cleanliness and friendly women at the reception desk are just wonderful and checkout is with ease. Just yesterday I had a chipped tooth fixed, not only did it look great Dr.Rick Gambella took the yellow off the tooth. I can't really express the happiness I feel but the big smile on my face does to everyone I see with my clear MASK

Amazing service . I came in with two of my teeth halfway chipped and they were able to repair everything and now I am confidently smiling! They made sure everything was done properly and that I was completely satisfied l. Price was very fair as well. Will definitely continue coming here.

I am overwhelmed with the care and concern Dr Hanna and Dr Gambella have for their patients as well as the staff. My mouth guard cracked and rather than ordering a new one, Dr Hanna sent it to get repaired and within 7 hours I had it back (same day) on a Friday no less. Dr Gambella was introduced to me and he is equally as caring. Paige at the front desk always welcomes you with her lovely smile (behind her Covid mask!) They are being extremely careful with cleaning everything between patients. My "old" dentist retired so I am thrilled to be part of the Bella Dental family! I highly recommend them and would give them 100 stars!!!
