Dr. Roderick S. Cooper earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Tuskegee University before attending the Howard University College of Dentistry, from which he graduated in 2004 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Cooper has been practicing in the area since 2005 and continues to advance his dental training and knowledge quarterly with over 100 hours per year in cosmetic dentistry and complete full-mouth reconstruction. Additionally, Dr. Cooper invests his time in mentoring and growing our employees skill base, allowing our team to stay up to date on the latest dental practices and helping us keep our patients educated about their care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with his family. His wife, Jamika, is a pediatric neurologist. His hobbies include music, fishing, attending sporting events and spending time with his family.
Kate is the Office Manager for Bella Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. Kate brings over 15 years of medical field experience in Nursing, Mental Health, and Office Management. Kate is passionate about helping others, delivering an exceptional patient experience, and making others smile. Kate is originally from London, Ontario, Canada and just moved to Atlanta, GA in 2020 from San Jose, CA. She shares two young children with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, biking, journaling, and traveling.
Sudy earned a bachelors degree in macroeconomics in Iran and a bachelors degree in biology in Germany before graduating from Georgia State University in 2006 with her degree in dental hygiene. Sudy is passionate about her job and makes it her goal to deliver pain-free, gentle, efficient and exceptional dental care. She is a team player and shows great empathy toward her co-workers and our patients. She is always smiling and is kind to everyone.
Jennifer has been a valuable asset to our team for several years, helping Dr. Cooper focus on his patients. With previous experience in the front office, Jennifer is able to help wherever she is needed. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys music, baking and watching football. She is a Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons fan!

My hygienist Ashley was kind, gentle and made me feel really comfortable. She did a great job! The rest of the staff is also very professional and welcoming. I really like this office :)

This place has been the worst experience I ever been he tried to support black business but then again they take a vantage of you he messed up three of my teeth on purpose a month later all three of them broke in half telling me that I need a root canals I went to a dental office before him and nothing was wrong with my tooth until I came to him after he put pressure on all three of them causing them to brake two days later and severe pain you're supposed to help the patient to have a healthy smile and not make someone smile worse he will mess up your tooth on purpose just for you to come back to get it fixed by him god will God will not bless someone like you how do you sleep at night running a business like that and cannot keep and can not keep employees because they know what he's doing two people what is done in the dark will always come out in the light god bless you and I hope you will stop harming people in the future we and wonder why Black people doesn't like to support other Black people because we cannot trust them and are one of them

After about four visiting Bella, I'm realizing four major things: 1. I hope Bella works against HIPAA procedure. This is how? As a patient vist a provider (Bella) then the Bella communicate with my insurance company with EDI code through HIPAA getaway then Bella need to get member approval then provide a service then again send claim request to the insurance company then my insurance company evaluate all treatment and CD 10 codes then paid a claim to Bella and the meantime, send me (a member)explanation of benefits that's show how much I'm supposed to pay to Bella after professionally evaluated by the insurance company (usually provider request top dollar for their services but insurance companies prevent them to bit not more than they chewing). However, they charged upfront top dollar from me (a patient) in advance without approved by the insurance company. Proof the amount of money paid to Bella and the explanation of benefit has different. If this is a case it's pernicious step to take an advantage from customers and against HIPAA procedure. 2. Lot of back and forth for same stuff that is supposed to done on a single vist because of the first case just to get more money. 3. I was filled my tooth, the doctor and her assistant was talked a lot during a treatment and their topic was an professional and not supposed to be infront of patients. However, I also notice some professional associates are there.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE. The The insurance coordinators are incompetent and do not return your calls when they are supposed to be assisting you. If you're still at this office, it's time to leave.

Dr. Cooper, Lucy, and Marisol were excellent. Their entire staff is highly skilled and really focuses on your complete satisfaction. I highly recommend Bella Dental in Tucker!

I've been going to Dr. Cooper for about eight years now and he is absolutely the best in Atlanta the best in the south the best ever do it!! Dr. Cooper has the best staff everybody is professional and I always have a wonderful experience every time I visit the office! I highly recommend Dr. Cooper to be your lifetime family doctor I promise you you will never be disappointed!!
