Dr. Kip Nielsen set his sights high from a young age and attended Brigham-Young University, where he pursued a bachelor's in Biology. Upon graduating from BYU, he was accepted into the prestigious College of Dental Medicine at Roseman University of Health Sciences. Dr. Nielsen enjoyed his time in academics so much he tutors aspiring dental students in his spare time!
After graduating, Dr. Nielsen wanted to give back and went on various humanitarian trips to Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras, providing dentistry for those in need. It impacted the way he approaches dentistry because he saw how much of a difference quality dental care can have on someone's life.
When Dr. Nielsen isn't providing world-class dental care, he enjoys golfing, venturing outdoors, and spending time with his wife of five years and his two sons, that are three years old and three months old.

I love this place . Bell Dentistry Staff is so friendly & flexible with my working hours. The dental hygienist is so pleasant & kind & has a delicate hand . Dr Nelson is great takes the time to explain everything clear & helps resolve any issues with my teeth. I highly recommend them . I feel like family when I am there. I can honestly say that I enjoy going to the dentist office now. The team there is so friendly and we take the time to chat. It's not just get you in and back out. They take the time to answer questions and are very gentle. I highly recommend Bell Road Dentistry.

I'm the valedictorian of dental hygiene! I am lucky to have straight white teeth that I very lovingly care for by brushing after every meal and flossing daily. For the love of God (or maybe just the ADA), I carry a toothbrush with me every where I go. Like American Express I never leave home without my toothbrush! My efforts have not been in vain... with a little luck and some good tooth genes I've been successfully avoiding/dodging/hating the dentist for decades. Sadly, I am occassionally betrayed by a less than appreciative tooth that wants to decay or otherwise cause problems in my needle phobic mouth. Over time I've collected a crown or three, had some childhood fillings replaced, and finally consented to the removal of 3 wisdom teeth at age 52. I needed a dentist last week after losing a crown to a piece of banana taffy at the Minnesota State Fair. I once tore out a crown while removing a Crest White Strip so I know better than to eat caramels or taffy... but I got caught up in the excitement: FRESH CANDY!! I WAS AT THE FAIR!! I WAS GOING TO BRUSH!! I DONT DESERVE THIS!! I found out that the crown could not be glued back on. I quickly spiraled into despair... I had to have the tooth pulled! By the time I got home to find a dentist it had been nearly 2 weeks that I had been walking around with a hole in the back of my mouth. This portal to a lethal brain infection would maybe provide the sweet release of death I needed to avoid the dentist? I'm happy to report here that I chose life! I called around to a few places nearest me and it seems a nitrous oxide using dentist is hard to find. I would be forced to suck on a whiskey soaked rag while I endured the impossible ...OR (!!!) ... I could listen to the wonderful Cassandra at Bell Road Dental who talked me off the ledge and gave me a little confidence. With her encouragement I put on my big girl pants and showed up at 8 am the next morning. Sweating. I was quickly put at ease. The staff at BRD is friendly, KIND and welcoming. They weren't just putting on a show for the big baby scheduled at 8. Everyone seemed to enjoy being there. The dentist was easy to engage, confident he was the man for the job, and very encouraging. He said to me: you can do this! I signed the paperwork without pooping myself and let them go to work. And I lived! It turns out I can do hard things without sedation, nitrous oxide, edibles or whiskey! The dentist gave me shots that I barely felt...ok, first one pinched but I didn't make any noise. For the record: I'm a loud dental moaner and was once put into a soundproof procedure room because I wasn't good for the atmosphere in the office. My experience was so good at BRD that I'm leaving my first service review for anyone ever. I love how they spoke to my fears with confidence and information that was helpful. And, and, and....they were so accommodating! I had a small window of opportunity to address my broken tooth and they got me in the next morning. I wrote all that out to say FIVE STARS for Bell Road Dental. ***Turns out the plug for American Express was unnecessary. It was so affordable I paid cash.

John was great. Not realizing I needed anesthesia before a deep clean, John was all calm and soothing. Very gentle and patient. I've never looked forward to #goingtothedentist, but I am exciting about getting the other half of my teeth cleaned.

Went in on an emergency with a tooth, the tooth turned out to have to be extracted but Dr. Nielsen did an excellent job it took a while to get out but he kept me out of pain and finished up nicely. He is very caring and passionate to his patients. I would recommend him to anyone he sat down and explained everything to me and listen to my concerns and took them with heart. his staff is wonderful they worked with me budget wise. I would recommend him to anyone kids to seniors
