Growing up, Dr. Joe Bell watched his father, Dr. David Bell, change lives as a top-notch dentist. It was his fathers example that inspired Dr. Joe Bell to keep the family legacy alive and pursue a career in dentistry himself. He wanted to do the hard but rewarding work of helping people overcome their health issues, just as his father has done for more than 45 years.
Dr. Joe Bell graduated with high distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society before joining his fathers practice in 1998.
He brought that long-standing commitment to excellence to Bell & Bell Dentistry, where he provides compassionate, gentle care to every dental guest who walks into our office. When hes not hard at work, Dr. Joe Bell is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending time with his family and pets on his farm.
Dr. Bell pursued a career in general dentistry so he could help his community. He opened his private practice after graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1970. Since then, he has continued to keep up with the latest advances in modern dentistry with countless hours of continuing education. In particular, hes spent much of his postgraduate study on aspects of restorative dentistry. Dr. Bell has always been fascinated by the technical aspect of good oral care.
He also knows that quality dentistry starts by building good relationships with his dental guests. To accomplish this, he wants to first be a friend to everyone who visits Bell & Bell Dentistry. In fact, getting to know our guests is his favorite part of his job.
