I went for a consult for a deep cleaning. Based on X-rays and an exam, Dr. Barrett put my mind at ease and said that I didn't need it. Everywhere else said I needed it and regularly, among other things. The front office also suggested an Oral-B electronic toothbrush in which they have a display in the waiting room area as well as a water pik.

Very professional couldn't be more pleased with the service and care I have received.. I would total recommend Belbar dental to my friends and family.

By far the absolute worst dentist I've ever been to. I went there for the first time last year for a tooth bothering me and they did was make it worse to the point where I'm trying to see if it can even be saved. Extremely poor service on all aspects.

Ok so this is a difficult thing for me to do but this practice is in need of major improvements. Dr. Barrett is a nice enough woman personality wise but I really hope to see her improve on her practice. I was a patient for a few years for some time with Medicaid insurance and for some time with employer provided insurance and I can tell they treat their patients based upon this fact. First complaint is it's always a hassle to get anyone on the phone at the office even during their posted hours. Next I've had twice shown up for an appointment to find the office closed during my scheduled appointment time and the office is closed and i was given no notice. Next their reminder system that allows you to make an appointment online doesn't work or they don't check it. The last straw for me was I came in for a filling that had fallen out. Without any consultation she began the process for a root canal!!! No questions nothing just began drilling and filling. Then come to find out the root canal was poorly done the material used was poor and its ill fitting. Some of the nerve was left in the root and I have an infection and now have to have a retreat done by a specialist and come out of my pocket for it.

I went here to get a Emergency teeth pulled in the Dentist left parts of the teeth in the hole and when I went back to let her check it out she lied and said that it was nothing in the hole and pieces of the teeth have been coming out every sense (Do not go here)

The staff and dentists really care about us patients. While I was there, I even noticed Dr. Barrett stayed late to care for a patient who needed urgent service.

Just recently moved to NJ and found Belbar Dental through my health insurance. I have to admit I was a bit worried as I don't know the area very much but I was very pleasantly surprised, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in accommodating my tight schedule, as I was on my lunch break. Dr. Belgrave was incredible, very calm and explaining every step of the consult with ease. Me and my husband were very well taken care of here and very happy! Highly recommended.

The staff are great. They get straight to the point and don't waste your time. I don't like the location. You can easily drive past the building if you're not paying attention. The parking lot is small. When leaving the lot it's a pain trying to turn onto Hamilton Street because the parallel parked cars block your view.
