After finishing dental school in 2003, Dr. Behl obtained his Doctor of Science degree in Oral Biology from Boston University in 2007. Once he had completed his specialty training in orthodontics from Boston University in 2010, he moved to southern Virginia.

Dr. Behl founded his own practice with a very simple mission in mind. He wanted to provide excellent and affordable care using only the latest technology to as many people as he possibly could. He didnt want to just be their orthodontist of choice he wanted to enhance the lives and the oral health of each and every person who walked through the practices door.

Dr. Elverman is a compassionate and knowledgeable orthodontist who has just joined us at Behl Orthodontics. She completed her residency in Colorado, attended dental school in Florida, and her undergraduate at Notre Dame. We believe her expertise and energy will make her an amazing addition to our team and help us provide the best care in the area.

Dr. Christian Davillier earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Meharry Medical College before attending orthodontics school at Howard University, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Davillier possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in the most advanced orthodontic techniques, including Invisalign.

Kristen grew up in Mississippi. She started her orthodontic career in 2001, and she has worked with incredible doctors over the years in both Mississippi and Florida. She joined Behl Orthodontics when her family moved to Virginia in 2010. Kristens passion is people, and she loves that she gets to be a part of creating new smiles every day. She has two children, Jonathan and Tyler. Kristen loves adventure, being outside, and participating and competing in Spartan and any other obstacle course races.

Joel is a US Navy Veteran retired after serving 26 years. He was originally born and raised in Tulsa, OK and comes to Behl Orthodontics with 26 years of medical experience in the Navy and 3 years with a local Pediatric Network. When not at work he loves to spend time with his family exploring, camping & hiking the beautiful countryside.

John holds a BA in International Studies from Old Dominion University. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, learning languages, traveling annually to Greece, and cooking for and entertaining his family and friends. John is a Trivia buff, and he claims that no one can beat him at Jeopardy (so feel free to challenge him next time youre in the office!) John is the proud uncle of two beautiful nieces, Asimina and Katerina.

Annabelle was born and raised in South Florida. She loves to soak up the sun and go paddleboarding in her spare time. She moved to Virginia to be closer to her fiance and to join our team. Annabelle enjoys helping our new patients with treatment to create their beautiful smiles.

Amy came to us from New Jersey. She has been working in the orthodontic field for over 3 years. When shes not in the office, shes at home reading her favorite books or planning her next trip to Disney World!

Sandra is originally from Miami, FL, but currently resides in Newports News. She is a proud mother of 4 teenagers, 3 boys and 1 girl. When shes not working, you can find her dancing bachata at local concerts!

Natalie began working at Behl Orthodontics over seven years ago, and she has loved every minute of her time with the team! She says that there is nothing like the accomplishment of helping people achieve their best smile! When shes not assisting in creating beautiful smiles with Dr. Behl, Natalie loves to spend time with her children and her grandson.

Jackie grew up and has lived her whole life in Norfolk, VA. She is the proud mom of four amazing kids! When shes not serving patients, Jackie loves shopping, traveling, and spending time with her kids and daughter-in-law.

Anna was born a Georgia peach and has 10 years of experience working in the dental field. When she isnt putting smiles on her patients faces, she likes to shop and paint with her 10-year-old beautiful daughter.

Kaay is originally from Alabama, but has been a native to Virginia Beach most of her life. Kaay chose orthodontics because she loves to give people confident smiles. In her spare time, she loves to enjoy the beautiful sunsets on the beach or travel with friends and family.

Originally from Frankfurt, Germany, Mello has been in the dental field for 10 years! When shes not assisting in creating beautiful smiles, you can find her at the beach soaking up the sun with her family and her beloved Doberman, Zeus.

Christine has been in dentistry for 7 years and has enjoyed every minute of it! When shes not in the office making patients laugh, shes enjoying the outdoors with her two amazing dogs Chola and Koda or traveling home to North Carolina to spend time with friends and family.

MaKynia is originally from Texas, but she comes from a military family so she has traveled all over the world! When shes not being a rockstar in the office, she and her high school sweetheart (now husband) love to go hiking and try new coffee shops together.

Carrie comes from Philadelphia (Go Eagles!) She has been with Behl for over 10 years. She enjoys spending time with her sons and grandchildren and taking beautiful photos of the sunset while walking the beach.

Bre is a proud fur mom to her 5 year old Shih Tzu, Diamond. She has a bachelors degree in marketing and management from The Art Institute. Bre loves coming to work and greeting patients with a smile, but when shes not at work shes either dancing like no ones watching or shopping at her favorite stores.

Kassaundra comes from Ocala, FL the sunshine state! She served in the US Navy for 5 years. She is currently in school to become a dental hygienist. She loves to travel the world and try food from all over.

Mady is originally from the Outer Banks and just moved here from Pittsburgh (Go Steelers and Penguins)! You can find her on the mountain with her loved dog, Kiba, or trying all the new restaurants in the area!
