Dr. Frank Beglin attended the University of California at Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. He next attended The Ohio State University, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1991.
Dr. Beglin next applied and returned to The Ohio State University, where he undertook a three-year Orthodontic Residency. He completed the program in 1997, with his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science (MS). Since completing his certificate, he has limited his practice to orthodontics.
Dr. Beglins Masters thesis received an award of special merit in a national competition sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists; it was published in the prestigious Journal of the American Association of Orthodontists.
In September of 2005, Dr. Beglin moved to Carson City to join Dr. John Coombs, forming Coombs & Beglin Orthodontics. The two doctors practiced together for several years, continuing the tradition of excellent, patient-centered care that Dr. Coombs had offered for more than 30 years.
When hes not crafting beautiful smiles, or studying the latest orthodontic research, Dr. Beglin loves time with his wife Emily and their two young daughters, Jill and Karen. His favorite recreational activity is cycling, though he also enjoys skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, golfing, and traveling.

Each of our dental assistants is highly-trained, responsive, and attentive. They keep our clinic stocked and organized, sterilize tools and equipment, maintain the highest levels of infection control, and set up the treatment areas for each patients procedure. They also take diagnostic records and images, provide chairside assistance to Dr. Beglin as he treats patients, and teach patients about oral health and dental hygiene.
I like interacting with the patients and parents andwitnessing each patients transformation from feeling self-conscious about their teeth to loving their smile! I have been part of Beglin Orthodontics since 2005. I haveeighteenyears of experience as a dental assistant. At Beglin Orthodontics we are a close team and work well together. We consider each other and our patients as family!
I like meeting new people and working with patients of all ages. Its rewarding to be part of a patients journey to a more beautiful smile! I started in the field in 1986, attended National Education Center (formerly Bryman) in San Jose, CA, for dental assisting, and joined Beglin Orthodontics in 2005. In addition to assisting, I also order supplies, stock the operatory, and translate for our Spanish-speaking patients. Dr. Beglin has integrity, treating each patient with their best interest at heart, and that dedication is shared by our staff!
I enjoy working with our patients and seeing their smiles and personalities transform from start to finish! I graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Truckee Meadows Community College in 2010 and joined Beglin Orthodontics that same year. I love working with a friendly and dedicated team that provides quality care to the wonderful people of our community!
I grew up in Carson City and am so happy to live in such a wonderful community. I live with my husband and our four dogs. We are lucky to foster dogs and find homes for them through a local rescue group. My hobbies include anything to do with the pups, from attending dog rescue events to hiking with our pooches.
I love watching patient transformations, as they gain self-esteem and confidence during treatment. They finish feeling great about themselves and their beautiful smile! I have worked in the dental field since 2004 and was welcomed to Beglin Orthodontics in 2018. Dr. Beglin is an amazing orthodontist. He is kind and patient, loves teaching, and cares about each patient. My teammates are just as caring and skilled: everyone here wants only the best for our patients and their smiles!
Along with Dr. Beglin and our clinical team, our front office team wants each person to feel welcome, informed, and supported throughout their orthodontic treatment. They are always available to answer questions, address concerns, and share a smile or five!
I appreciate being part of a caring, professional practice that puts our patients at the forefront of all we do. I started working in the oral healthcare field in 1989 and joined Beglin Orthodontics as the Office Manager in 2017. One of the most rewarding aspects of this position is knowing our patients are never disappointed when treatment is complete: at every visit we see their smiles become bigger and brighter!
Besides Dr. Beglin being an excellent orthodontist, he is up-to-date on technology and always attending classes and meetings to continue to provide the best care for his patients. He enjoys sharing this knowledge with his staff, so they are equipped to deliver the best treatment and orthodontic experience.
I was born and raised in the Bishop area. My husband retired from the school system after 36 years and is now the chef of our household; he also spoils our Maltese, Bob! I have a daughter who is married and living in Sparks with her two daughters. I love spending my free time outdoors: walking, hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, gardening, and enjoying the beauty that surrounds Bishop. I also love to travel and attend concerts.
Dr. Beglin and our team enjoy what we do and that makes coming to work a fun experience. We share a lot of laughs during the day, talking and joking with our patients, their families, and one another.
Beyond my work life, I am Mother to two grown children and Grammy to three adorable grandchildren. Im very family-oriented and love spending time with my parents, kids, and grandkids. I also love animals and have four cats and three granddoggies. I like to read, listen to country music, and watch movies in my spare time.

I have had three kids complete their braces journey with Beglin Orthodontics and I can't recommend them enough! Dr Beglin does beautiful work and is so kind. He makes the office such a warm, comfortable experience. The staff is always welcoming and and happy to see us. It's a pleasure to come in for our appointments and my kids teeth look great!

MY SON JUST GOT HIS BRACES PUT ON AND WE HAD A COUPLE ISSUES WITH THE BRACKETS. WE CALLED THEM AND THEY SAW US THE SAME DAY. PAULA IS AMAZING AND THE REST OF THE STAFF IS AS WELL! THEY ARE ALL SO FRIENDLY AND MAKE THE EXPERIENCE LESS PAINFUL AND INTIMIDATING AS IT USUALLY WOULD BE.

Dr. Beglin and his team are so professional, personable, efficient, and do amazing, precise work that yields fantastic results in the shortest period of time possible! I was very reticent to get braces at 29 years old, but did it for my future dental health, and I'm so glad that I did! I'm grateful that my dentist highly recommended Dr. Beglin and my consultation with him and his office manager was a very comprehensive and comfortable first meeting. I got my braces taken off today, a year and seven months in, five months ahead of schedule, because Dr. Beglin's original placement of the brackets and expertise in making all the right adjustments in the most effective, efficient way set me up for every success and fast tracked my progress! If you diligently follow his instruction and trust his process, your results will be beyond your expectations - mine certainly were! And here's some great advice; If you're thinking of invisalign, just get the damon braces, your results will be so worth it! And if you're thinking of getting clear brackets on your top teeth, think again! I got the clear and afterward I wished that I had saved the extra money and gotten all metal - the metal brackets are much more comfortable, are less expensive, the power chains stay on better, they make your teeth look whiter and more uniform - the clear ceramic brackets are NOT worth it! I started the process of fixing my teeth several years ago. Doctor Beglin and the rest of the staff made me feel like I was part of the family. Once I got my braces on, I never had to go without a tooth again. They did an amazing job. They are part of our family now as both our daughters still have braces on. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
