Dr. Marianna Beetham is passionate about creating healthy smiles, educating patients about oral care, preventing big problems before they start, and making people feel beautiful with both simple and advanced cosmetic dental procedures. She believes not only in maintaining technical excellence, but also in providing a comfortable, caring, and nurturing dental environment for her patients.
Dr. Beetham has lived in Kirkland since 1992 and graduated from our local Juanita High School. She attended the University of Washington for eight years where she received her Bachelors degree in biochemistry and later her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Beetham lived in Seattle until 2004 when she moved back to Kirkland and opened Beetham Dentistry.
Dr. Beetham believes that participating in continuing dental education enables her to stay at the forefront of her field with new techniques, materials, and technology. She is an active member of several dental associations, such as:
Dr. Beetham is also involved in ongoing study clubs and classes that study placement of implants and periodontal surgery. She participates in a volunteer program that provides dental care to underprivileged youth in rural communities and spends time lecturing to local schoolchildren and expectant mothers on the importance of dental care and prevention of dental problems.
When shes not in the office, Dr. Beetham enjoys exploring local restaurants, going on walks and hikes with her family, traveling, and participating in her kids activities and sports. She is married with two daughters and one son.

Anastasia comes to Beetham Dentistry with an extensive background in accounting where she worked prior to joining the dental field. Anastasia is here to help with your insurance questions, scheduling, and accounting. She loves being a part of a dental office and hopes to further learn and pursue training in the dental field. Anastasia was born and raised in Moscow and moved to Washington state in 2007. She continues to travel back to Russia to visit her extended family but feels that the Pacific Northwest is her new home. When not working, Anastasia enjoys photography, videography and is quite an accomplished athlete.
Heidi has been a dental hygienist since 2011, having graduated from Lake Washington Technical College. Patients adore her personality, knowledge and amazing skills. In fact, many patients who move out of the area continue to come to us because they feel Heidi is that great! Heidi is wonderful about educating and improving patients oral health and she takes great pride in our many success stories of our periodontal patients. Before starting her dental hygiene career, Heidi spent 10 years as a medical coordinator and office manager and has extensive knowledge of insurance and benefit breakdown, thus helping answer those questions for patients. Heidi was raised in Redmond and has a wonderful family that lives in the area. When not working, Heidi and her family can be found cheering on her daughter at her many softball games and tournaments.
Larysa has been in the dental field for many years. She started her career as a dental assistant and later furthered her training as a dental hygienist. Larysa completed her studies in both dental hygiene and dental assisting from Lake Washington Technical College and has worked with Dr. Beetham for over 10 years! Patients adore Larysa, her kind personality, and her gentle nature. Larysa was born in Ukraine and moved to the Woodinville area in the early 2000s. She is happily married and is the mother of a grown son. When not working, Larysa likes to spend time with her family, cook and play tennis. Her other passion in life is oil painting and she is quite an accomplished artist.
Helen comes to Beetham Dentistry with quite a vast experience in the dental field, where she first started in 2012. Besides being an amazing assistant, Helen is an accomplished Army veteran having completed several years of military training in dental and other fields. Helen was born and raised in Washington state but has extended family in Ethiopia, where she loves to visit. When not working, Helen likes to spend time with her family and friends. Helen is hoping to continue pursuing further training in dentistry making it a lifelong career. In her spare time, Helen enjoys having dinners with her friends and family, cooking, going to the movies and enjoying the outdoors.
Mila joined us with 16 years of health care experience and has been an invaluable addition to the team. Mila is here to help with your insurance questions, scheduling, and customer care. She is great at answering those complex insurance and accounting questions and is amazing at running the front office. Mila is a proud mother of two teenagers and when not working, she spends most of her time with family. She enjoys rollerblading, ice skating and skiing.

I love my dentist. They do a thorough job, go over everything with clear, easy to understand explanations, and listen to any of my concerns. I highly recommend them!

Very nice and friendly...always made sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. They put protective plastic on computer mouse and wear gloves and mask. Very sanitary.

She is the worst dentist I have had ever. She just take the patient, start working on their teeth and in the middle when you have bad pain experience she said ohh you need to see the specialist. If you a doctor and have license must known when you see the r ray and I am so sorry to let you know that the licensing must take your license from you because your not care about your patient and you make more damages.

This place is amazing! I was beyond nervous as I hadn't been to the dentist for far too long. Dr. Beetham's office was recommended by a close friend for being kindhearted and friendly. He couldn't have been more right. From the minute I walked in the office I felt comfortable. The front desk gals were warm and inviting, my hygienist Larysa was the best! She had her work cut out for her and the entire time she was only concerned about my comfort level. Dr. Beetham was a light of hope. She was honest, straightforward and had a plan for me all with my best interest at heart and a kind smile on her face! I couldn't be more excited to have finally found "my dental office"

I have come to Beetham Dentistry since moving to Kirkland in early 2021 and have had reliably good experiences. Dr. Beetham and her staff are very professional and friendly. I have had a lot of dentists due to numerous moves in the past few years and Beetham Dentistry is probably the most detail-oriented I have had so far. I recommend them 100%.

being a patient for 6 years. For last 2years nothing but cleaning needed.. Mariana as any other dentist in town is running business first and being a doctor second. She does fair job when she does dental work on her own, not assistants or other 'chair rental' temporary staff . when I have well covered insurance she did the best for me and for her business. But nobody is perfect - and it is ok. First problem occurred 3 years ago when she suggested to put a crown on alive tooth not verifying how sensitive or how close are 4 root canals. She said I don't do root canals and if you want I can put a crown on alive tooth. She did not mention that it might be not good accepted by my body. I had severe reaction, temperature, pain and etc. and she just told me to get antibiotics, which caused another bad reaction as those were too strong ones...nightmare. When I tried to call her in pain the receptionist had been bouncing that she will call back. At the end she told me through receptionist to go to another dentist to do root canals, which of course been charged more when job done through crown rather than it should be done before putting the crown on open tooth. After such experience nobody wants to return back but I still went once in 6 months for cleaning to her office. I also asked her, and she did not directly answered me, why she did not test sensitivity of tooth, i.e. reaction on cold and hot, with simple device prior to putting crown on alive tooth. She did not respond. My wife she decided to not use Marianna being a patient for 6 years as she felt that service and desire to help as doctor supposed to went south. Iether Marianna was tired or some other reasons but she certainly was not up to dentist's patients expectations to be direct and explain what can be done to be aware of cost as well. It is another story to be told but by my wife. But I still was not ready to go to another dentist and hoped that it was just bad moments that can happened to anybody in life. Therefore, I went in October for cleaning, double checking with receptionist (new on a job after Alena left the office - she was so nice and professional in figuring out any aspects with insurances). When I sit in chair the hygienist was setting up to take xrays as for annual check up. I mentioned to her that I came only for regular cleaning this time. She left to talk to Marianna and came back confirming that only cleaning will be done. she did confirmed. when she finished cleaning, i went to receptionist and she said that i have covered only by 80% , when she twice told me that she verified with insurance and it is covered 100%. She told me that hygienist did deep cleaning - not true. And as I found later on not without Marianna direction. Marianna supposed to have quick bucks on insurance check out 100% coverage much more than just cleaning job. i did call to insurance and the insuranse confirmed that office did not provide any prove,such as xrays,to confirm the work that they claimed they did. And finally, today the cement went off from a bridge that mariana put 4 years ago. to make it short...I was not expecting free service... I was expecting doctor's honest desire to help me and to have an appointment to look at my bridge. and she refused even talk to me before assuring 68$ to be paid . Marianna does , as any other business owner, need to make money and deserves each penny if she might get back to level of service she did 3 years ago. But now it seems to be pure business - not mentioning she lost interest in my persona and my wife as well when we declined her multiple attempts to 'help us' to install implants. Thank you for going through my long story but I'm so frustrated that can't make it short. Hope that won't happened to other patients of Marianna.

We have been seeing Dr. Beetham and the staff for several years now. They are always so helpful, from helping navigate the insurance to cleaning, exams, and needed work. It's nice to have a plan, to prioritize needed work to manage and use available coverage. My husband and I have both benefited from great care. They are always welcoming, and it feels like family!

Dentists are like auto mechanics - you need to find one that you can trust and who has your best interests in mind. One that only recommends the service you need and teaches you to do thoughtful maintenance yourself, (even if it results in fewer service visits). But a good dentist alone is not enough. A caring hygienist makes the greatest positive impact. Marianna and Heidi and team are the best there is.

I have been going to Dr. Beetham for over 10 years and have had everything from fillings, crowns, and implants. She and her staff are always professional and friendly. I know I am always in good hands with Dr. Beetham. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a dentist.

I had a very bad experience with Julia the receptionist, and wasn't just ones, looks like she doesn't care about Marrianna Beetham's patients (business) at all, I called to book an appointment for cleaning but wanted to know if I have coverage as I have a different insurance, Julia promised me to call back but never did and when I called her back in two weeks she told me that yes I have a coverage and can book an appointment but if I wouldn't call she would not call as she told me that they are to busy and it's my responsibility to call, plus she told me that I gave her wrong phone number for her to verify my coverage, I told her that she should of call me back or at list find out on her own the right phone number especially that's what she actually supposed to do any way?? I decided to find another dentist and the other dental office check my coverage in about 10 min, just don't understand why some people doing their job and some "Not"??? Julia had a little knowledge about the job she is doing, it's her responsibility to check patients coverage and benefits but she gave me a wrong information regarding my coverage that after I ended up paying extra money for a service, I really didn't want to leave Marrianna Beetham office as she is an excellent dentist and so is Laura the hygienist, It's so sad to leave a dentist because of someone in front desk doesn't do their job especially after so many years of good experience.

Dr. Beetham and all her staff are friendly and efficient. At my last dentist I had to request a topical application to numb my gums for a cleaning but that is no longer necessary at Beetham Denistry and my teeth are thoroughly cleaned.

A visit to see Dr. Beetham and staff is always efficient, professional, friendly and pleasant. All staff are concerned with your care and comfort. Your immediate concerns are taken care of and Dr. Beetham provides proactive and comprehensive plans, if needed, for potential future problems. All options are presented. You are thoughtfully listened to and not rushed. During this covid crisis I felt all precautions were being taken to make my visit safe. I highly recommend this dental practice!
