Originally from Los Altos, CA, Dr. Beech was next in line to become an oral surgeon after 4 generations of doctors in his family. After his residency, he worked with his dad, Dr. Anthony Beech, for several years before his father retired. Working at his dads office helped Dr. Beech realize his calling: to help others and change lives through oral surgery.
Dr. Beech wants his patients to know that they are never forced into treatment. He wants patients to be a part of the decision-making process and wants them to feel comfortable with the person performing surgery. When a patient leaves and theyre not in any pain and in improved health, it is an extremely rewarding feeling.
After earning a bachelors degree in biology from Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2005, Dr. Beech went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from USC. He graduated in 2009 and completed a 1-year fellowship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. For his residency, Dr. Beech spent 4 years between Northwestern Memorial and John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. During this time, he gained extensive hands-on training in a hospital environment and also met Dr. Reid.
Dr. Beech is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. This certification holds him to the highest standards of treatment and patient care, and he must work to maintain this status by demonstrating superior health care through training, experience, and knowledge.
From the Bluegrass state of Kentucky, Dr. John Reid was inspired to go into the field of health care by his father, an oral surgeon; his mother, a nurse and dental hygienist; and his sister, an internal medicine doctor. During his hospital training in dental school, Dr. Reid realized that he wanted to do more in terms of medical training and treating surgical emergencies. He met Dr. Beech during his residency and was excited to move to California to go into practice with his colleague and friend.
Dr. Reid helps his patients feel comfortable and listens to their concerns. He finds it rewarding to see a patient happy and healthy following successful surgery and revels in the fact that they offer in-house procedures instead of having patients travel to a surgery center or hospital. Dr. Reid has worked hard to create a compassionate environment that is dynamically skilled and technologically advanced. He takes great pride in what he does and simply loves to help people.
Dr. Reid earned a bachelors degree in science from the University of Mississippi in 2004. He attended dental school at the University of Louisville, KY, and graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After a 1-year internship at LSU in New Orleans, he completed a 4-year residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, which is where he met his wife.
Dr. Reid is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. To uphold this honorable status, he must demonstrate superior health care through training, experience, and knowledge. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and The American Dental Association.

When recovering from wisdom teeth surgery they were very quick to respond, always answered when I called with instructions on what to do for questions I asked, and was able to get an appointment the same day I had a concern. All around great service!

My visit and surgery with Dr.Reif was as painless as virtually possible but easy and straightforward. I had a consultation with Dr.Reid in June and went in for the surgery in August. The staff were very organized with clear instructions on pre and post operation care and what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Reid and his clinic for my family and friends.

I had such a pleasant experience getting my wisdom tooth removed here with Dr. Reid! I was recommended here by my dentist for the last wisdom tooth removal. During my consultation, I met with Dr. Reid and his assistant. Both of them were friendly and went through their analysis and recommendations with me. They were very flexible on my preferences on general anesthesia vs. local numbing. During the actual surgery, Dr. Reid was very quick and efficient, while talking to me about the steps that he's doing. The whole surgery took 25 minutes, 5 of which was the actual tooth removal. Due to the quick & efficient surgery, I had a painless recovery process as well. Overall I highly recommend choosing Beech & Reid Oral Surgery!

Removal of wisdom teeth are never an experience you would think of reviewing... First, here why we came to Dr Beech: My son was treated by Dr Beech a few years ago, and his case was complicated, some other surgeons did not want to take the case. Dr. Beech demonstrated confidence explaining how he would approach the surgery and we trusted him. And he delivered. So now I needed a surgery, Dr Beech and his staff at the Sunnyvale office did a great job from the start. From explaining the treatment, dealing with dental insurance, surgery was like a dream (I was at sleep) and post-surgery follow up. I honestly would recommend Dr Beech and the staff at the Sunnyvale office.

Dr Beech's office and staffs were awesome! His staff was kind and friendly. Dr Beech himself was knowledgeable and caring. He explains and answers all your questions thoroughly. The office was clean and orderly. The staffs also check up on you the day of and days after to make sure you're doing okay. Whenever we called, any of the staffs who answered knew about our case and answered all our questions thoroughly. That really shows the staffs and the providers put in the good effort to make the patient feel safe and special. I can't ask for more in leaving my 5 years old in better hands. We are so thankful we found them! He and his team are worth more than five stars can describe!
