We are lucky to work alongside skilled oral surgeons Dr. Neal Swann and Dr. Brian Fong at our Milpitas office. Originally from Los Altos, CA, Dr. Beech was next in line to become an oral surgeon after 4 generations of doctors in his family. After his residency, he worked with his dad, Dr. Anthony Beech, for several years before his father retired. Working at his dads office helped Dr. Beech realize his calling: to help others and change lives through oral surgery.
Dr. Beech wants his patients to know that they are never forced into treatment. He wants patients to be a part of the decision-making process and wants them to feel comfortable with the person performing surgery. When a patient leaves and theyre not in any pain and in improved health, it is an extremely rewarding feeling.
After earning a bachelors degree in biology from Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2005, Dr. Beech went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from USC. He graduated in 2009 and completed a 1-year fellowship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. For his residency, Dr. Beech spent 4 years between Northwestern Memorial and John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. During this time, he gained extensive hands-on training in a hospital environment and also met Dr. Reid.
Dr. Beech is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. This certification holds him to the highest standards of treatment and patient care, and he must work to maintain this status by demonstrating superior health care through training, experience, and knowledge.
From the Bluegrass state of Kentucky, Dr. John Reid was inspired to go into the field of health care by his father, an oral surgeon; his mother, a nurse and dental hygienist; and his sister, an internal medicine doctor. During his hospital training in dental school, Dr. Reid realized that he wanted to do more in terms of medical training and treating surgical emergencies. He met Dr. Beech during his residency and was excited to move to California to go into practice with his colleague and friend.
Dr. Reid helps his patients feel comfortable and listens to their concerns. He finds it rewarding to see a patient happy and healthy following successful surgery and revels in the fact that they offer in-house procedures instead of having patients travel to a surgery center or hospital. Dr. Reid has worked hard to create a compassionate environment that is dynamically skilled and technologically advanced. He takes great pride in what he does and simply loves to help people.
Dr. Reid earned a bachelors degree in science from the University of Mississippi in 2004. He attended dental school at the University of Louisville, KY, and graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After a 1-year internship at LSU in New Orleans, he completed a 4-year residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, which is where he met his wife.
Dr. Reid is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. To uphold this honorable status, he must demonstrate superior health care through training, experience, and knowledge. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and The American Dental Association.
