Our office in Milpitas is located just off of I-680 on E Calaveras Blvd, and our staff is excited to welcome you to our practice. We are lucky to work alongside skilled oral surgeons Dr. Neal Swann and Dr. Brian Fong at our Milpitas office. Originally from Los Altos, CA, Dr. Beech was next in line to become an oral surgeon after 4 generations of doctors in his family. After his residency, he worked with his dad, Dr. Anthony Beech, for several years before his father retired. Working at his dads office helped Dr. Beech realize his calling: to help others and change lives through oral surgery.
Dr. Beech wants his patients to know that they are never forced into treatment. He wants patients to be a part of the decision-making process and wants them to feel comfortable with the person performing surgery. When a patient leaves and theyre not in any pain and in improved health, it is an extremely rewarding feeling.
After earning a bachelors degree in biology from Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2005, Dr. Beech went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from USC. He graduated in 2009 and completed a 1-year fellowship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. For his residency, Dr. Beech spent 4 years between Northwestern Memorial and John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. During this time, he gained extensive hands-on training in a hospital environment and also met Dr. Reid.
Dr. Beech is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. This certification holds him to the highest standards of treatment and patient care, and he must work to maintain this status by demonstrating superior health care through training, experience, and knowledge.
From the Bluegrass state of Kentucky, Dr. John Reid was inspired to go into the field of health care by his father, an oral surgeon; his mother, a nurse and dental hygienist; and his sister, an internal medicine doctor. During his hospital training in dental school, Dr. Reid realized that he wanted to do more in terms of medical training and treating surgical emergencies. He met Dr. Beech during his residency and was excited to move to California to go into practice with his colleague and friend.
Dr. Reid helps his patients feel comfortable and listens to their concerns. He finds it rewarding to see a patient happy and healthy following successful surgery and revels in the fact that they offer in-house procedures instead of having patients travel to a surgery center or hospital. Dr. Reid has worked hard to create a compassionate environment that is dynamically skilled and technologically advanced. He takes great pride in what he does and simply loves to help people.
Dr. Reid earned a bachelors degree in science from the University of Mississippi in 2004. He attended dental school at the University of Louisville, KY, and graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After a 1-year internship at LSU in New Orleans, he completed a 4-year residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, which is where he met his wife.
Dr. Reid is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. To uphold this honorable status, he must demonstrate superior health care through training, experience, and knowledge. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and The American Dental Association.

Great experience. I had my wisdom teeth removed. The staff was very professional and friendly. The whole process was seamless and quick. They did a great job of making sure I knew what the procedure was and my after care instructions.

I had my tooth extracted and planned to replace with an implant. The extraction was painless, Dr Reid and his assistants were all very caring and courteous. Facility is clean and the entire process for the implant were well explained

My wisdom tooth extraction by Dr Reid went really well. I was informed with lots of useful information during consultation, so I was mentally prepared for the actual surgery. Pain medication and everything needed for the post surgery recovery were prescribed in advance, which was absolutely helpful to avoid pharmacy runs with a just extracted painful tooth. Lisa and other office staff are also warm and professional. The recovery was quite smooth too. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who needs dental procedures!

My surgery and recovery went so well! I have to admit, I was feeling quite nervous going into this as I'd never been under general anesthesia before but it went phenomenally. The procedure itself was done very fast (less than an hour) - I was in and out. Afterwards, the pain was very minimal. The office staff and medical team were so kind and knowledgeable, I'm so grateful! Highly recommend them.

Beech and Reid Oral Surgery team is amazing. Very helpful, accommodating and friendly team. My son had his wisdom teeth taken out and he was so happy with how the procedure went. He was concerned about waking up with pain as this was his first surgery and he said he didn't feel hardly anything at all. Dr. Reid did a great job prepping Ryan and being super chill and positive! Everything went smoothly from the moment I made the appointment for my son's wisdom teeth removal. The Dr. explained everything and answered all my questions. The staff went over the instructions many times. The extraction didn't take long and healed very quickly. Thank you for the experience, I'll be bringing my second child to you guys as well.

Dr. Beech and his team are amazing. I have gone to them a couple of times and I have this unnatural anxiety about the dentist so anything being done to my mouth is extremely stressful for me and each time they were warm and reassuring and friendly and made me feel much calmer. The procedure was quick and painless and recovery was equally as easy. I would highly recommend Dr.Beech who is located in Sunnyvale and Evergreen which made it very easy to get to.

I got my wisdom teeth (3) extraction surgery done last week. I had an amazing experience. I was made comfortable during consultation, Dr and staff were were nice, and also all prescriptions were arranged way in advance of surgery. Also, during surgery Dr. Reed was very gentle as I have lock jaw issue so cannot open wide. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would 100% recommend Dr Reed for oral surgery.

I had a great experience with doctor Beech. He made me feel comfortable and constantly checked on how I was doing while the surgery was taking place. The nurse also was very sweet and gave enough details about how to take care of my teeth for next few days and info regarding the food to eat and more. The surgery was done in no time and I didn't feel a thing. I would definitely recommend going to him and the staff kept checking in on me to see how I was doing. Definitely a great experience overall!

Dr. Beech and the staff were super professional and caring. On Dec 8 I had my 4 wisdom teeth (the lower 2 were horizontal) removed under general anesthesia and there was no pain at all during the whole recovery period after the surgery. The only thing I had was a slight swelling that went away after one day. It has been 3 weeks since the operation and I have recovered very well, the tooth sockets still need time to close though.
