Our office in Milpitas is located just off of I-680 on E Calaveras Blvd, and our staff is excited to welcome you to our practice. We are lucky to work alongside skilled oral surgeons Dr. Neal Swann and Dr. Brian Fong at our Milpitas office. Anesthesia and sedation options are available to ensure maximum comfort as well as high-tech 3D scans to provide accurate and beneficial surgical procedures. Originally from Los Altos, CA, Dr. Beech was next in line to become an oral surgeon after 4 generations of doctors in his family. After his residency, he worked with his dad, Dr. Anthony Beech, for several years before his father retired. Working at his dads office helped Dr. Beech realize his calling: to help others and change lives through oral surgery.
Dr. Beech wants his patients to know that they are never forced into treatment. He wants patients to be a part of the decision-making process and wants them to feel comfortable with the person performing surgery. When a patient leaves and theyre not in any pain and in improved health, it is an extremely rewarding feeling.
After earning a bachelors degree in biology from Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2005, Dr. Beech went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from USC. He graduated in 2009 and completed a 1-year fellowship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. For his residency, Dr. Beech spent 4 years between Northwestern Memorial and John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. During this time, he gained extensive hands-on training in a hospital environment and also met Dr. Reid.
Dr. Beech is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. This certification holds him to the highest standards of treatment and patient care, and he must work to maintain this status by demonstrating superior health care through training, experience, and knowledge.
From the Bluegrass state of Kentucky, Dr. John Reid was inspired to go into the field of health care by his father, an oral surgeon; his mother, a nurse and dental hygienist; and his sister, an internal medicine doctor. During his hospital training in dental school, Dr. Reid realized that he wanted to do more in terms of medical training and treating surgical emergencies. He met Dr. Beech during his residency and was excited to move to California to go into practice with his colleague and friend.
Dr. Reid helps his patients feel comfortable and listens to their concerns. He finds it rewarding to see a patient happy and healthy following successful surgery and revels in the fact that they offer in-house procedures instead of having patients travel to a surgery center or hospital. Dr. Reid has worked hard to create a compassionate environment that is dynamically skilled and technologically advanced. He takes great pride in what he does and simply loves to help people.
Dr. Reid earned a bachelors degree in science from the University of Mississippi in 2004. He attended dental school at the University of Louisville, KY, and graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After a 1-year internship at LSU in New Orleans, he completed a 4-year residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, which is where he met his wife.
Dr. Reid is board-certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. To uphold this honorable status, he must demonstrate superior health care through training, experience, and knowledge. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and The American Dental Association.

I had multiple tooth extractions scheduled at Dr Beech's & Reid's Sunnyvale office. Although this is something I wasn't looking up to in life, the extraction went well and my wounds healed as expected with good success on the oral implants. The recovery was smooth. I have received care from both Dr Beech and Reid. They are skilled and I highly recommend them. The staff at the office was professional and answered all my questions about the procedure.

Went in for a molar implant. First stage was done very professionally, from front staff to assistants and the dentists. Did not rush through and clear information on the procedure and post care.

Went to get all four wisdom teeth removed. Don't remember anything, day two and I feel little to no pain! I was so scared of going under and they made jokes before I went .

Being a parent you need to know the good resources we have here in the Bay Area, such as emergency for dental accidents. I experienced first hands.. and after spending hours on the phone I found this office to be exactly what I needed: Professional, with a game plan positive solution, and being informed of the best options as a patient was really important to me. I would definitely recommend this office to any one with a dental emergency.

Amazing experience for my wisdom teeth extraction. Kept me calm and happy in the beginning and put me under and boom i woke up and everything was done. They walked me to my cousins car with a goodie bag to help me with recovering. They're very attentive with their post op calls and very courteous as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Beech is a very experienced oral surgeon, and his expertise and detailed explanation during consultation gave us lots of confidence that eased our worries. All the pre- and post- procedures were clearly explained and easy to follow. The surgery was quick and successful. I couldn't imagine the extraction of 8 teeth (including 4 impacted wisdom teeth) in one surgery could be like a breeze, and the wounds healed nicely and fast as well. Thank you, Dr. Beech and his team!

Everyone was professional and polite. I HATE going to the dentist. I have this anxiety about it, but Dr, beech and his staff completely made all of that go away. I felt confident and relaxed when it came time to the surgery. RECOMMEND HIGHLY!!!

Great experience! Had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and absolutely no pain or swelling post-surgery. Instructions were clear and they kept my anxiety at a minimum.

While at first not my first choice my dental insurance would only work at the Milpitas location. I went to the Beech & Reid office in Sunnyvale for my very first tooth extraction and was nervous about going to a different branch. However the team for the Milpitas location was just as fantastic, even more so with the changes to comply with precautions to the covid19 this year. They were friendly, informative, and caring, always making sure you were doing okay. Dr. Reid did great work, always communicating on what is going to happen, it's comforting. The the extraction while always daunting was done quite painlessly. Even hours and days later I was not in pain from any complications. I definitely don't mind making Milpitas the main place I go to from now on as they are a great team you can rely on.
