She is the very proud mother of two children, Madeleine (born 4 days after her residency completion!) and Beckett. She feels that her ability to love and her capacity for patience and understanding have grown exponentially since becoming a mother. She also knows that these qualities help her to be even more kind and compassionate with her patients. While she is quick to admit that she had never lived in a small town area before, she is equally quick to share how much she loves Coquille. From the dunes, to the beaches, to the coastal towns, to the farms there is no comparison to the surpassing beauty of the Oregon coast.
Another of Dr. Heidis loves for her community stems from her observations of the genuineness, the kindness and the compassion that the residents of this area feel, not only for their children, but also for one another qualities and values like these are not as easy to find in larger city environments. She has long appreciated the friendships she has been able to make with her patients and their parents as they share not only a functional role, but a relational one as well.
She thrives on the idea that she will watch these children grow into the wonderful people they are to become, and thoroughly enjoys praising them, encouraging them and nurturing them into all that they can be. With this in mind, there can be no doubt as to how much Dr. Heidi loves her job. She feels blessed that her work allows her the freedom to be energetic, creative and silly. She invests a piece of her heart into every patient and family she meets and looks forward to serving our community to the best of her ability in the years to come.
Mags Sanchez Patient Care Coordinator Mags graduated Coquille High School in 2001 and entered the medical field in 2015. She joined Bee Happy in 2020 and quickly became a great addition to the team with her excellent organizational skills, Spanish translating and friendly demeanor. Her interests include hiking, photography, traveling, crafting, decorating, and spending time with family.
Melissa Hindman Board Certified Restorative Assistant, Certified Surgical Assistant and Marketing Coordinator Melissa has worked in the dental field for over 7 years, achieving extra certifications with procedures from dental implants to childrens sealants. In 2020 she became a board certified restorative assistant. She is a versatile, important part of our dental team because she shares roles both in the front and the back office areas. Melissa graduated from Coquille High School in 2003 and loves spending time with her family. She especially enjoys being outdoors and boating on the Rogue River.
Steven Alvarez Registered Dental Hygienist Steve has over 25 years in the dental field, with the past 15 years focused on his dental hygiene career. He received his dental hygiene degree from Loma Linda University in 1999 after serving in the Airforce from 1989-1993. Steve is a fantastic hygienist who values his patients and enjoys his time with them. Outside of the office, his hobbies include having adventures with his family, playing basketball and going to the beach.
Morgan Miller Sterilization Technician Morgan graduated from Coquille High School in 2019. She is aspiring to become a Dental Hygienist and is currently a student at Lane Community College. Outside of work and school she enjoys riding horses, fishing, camping, and hanging out with friends.

We have never been treated so poorly. DO NOT GO TO BEE HAPPY if your child has a complicated issue.

Always make you feel welcome. The kids love going to the dentist. Awesome atmosphere. The ladies at the front desk are always in a good mood and ready to help with whatever you may need!

I don't understand how this business operates. My son had two emergency referrals and they still wouldn't "approve "him to be seen. Told me they couldn't see him for seven months even if it did get approved. I had Advantage send his referrals to Eugene and they got excepted and he has an appointment this Friday. I don't understand how I can get him scheduled in Eugene three days out but it takes them seven months to even schedule an appointment. Don't take your kids here they obviously don't care about their jobs they don't even answer the phone. This is coming from a very concerned mom that called them at least three times a day for months until they are sick of me. They don't answer they don't return your calls I am convinced they don't even do dental work.

During the recently scheduled appointments set by Bee Happys, we where informed multiple times that our appointment times had changed after already arriving at the originally agreed upon time. My daughter has been in pain and was denied dental work due to the lack of communication and accountability of this work environment.

The doctor, assistant and all of the staff was so friendly with my high energy 5 year old. The office is clean, comfortable, kid friendly and fun! He is excited to go back.

This place is not what it's cracked up to be! We have had 7 year battle with these people. We originally came to Heidi for a tooth extraction! We expressed our child's situation of uneasiness with these procedures. I video taped the entire procedure and was even granted permission in the video to do so! We had agreed on sedation. Then at the last minute she decided not to sedate. The entire process was traumatic for my son. Afterwords we agreed never to return. To our surprise a few months later we were billed for sedation. We called and stated that we would be contesting these charges. To which we Received no court date for. we believed that this was over. However much to our surprise we received a collection notice in the mail about 7 months ago. a ruling from the court when we contacted mrs Paul's about the situation she ordered a cease and desist from the collection agency on the grounds that I had video evidence of a different story. Then today we received another collection notice from Heidi Paul's. to which I responded to her office and both of the women on the phone that we had spoke with today were very rude. after calling the collection agency they hung up on us. unfortunately there's a lack of professionalism at this location and I don't recommend anyone utilizing bee happy children's dentistry. When I mentioned I would be sharing the video on social media the office assistant stated to me on a recorded call "remember where you work!" threatening my position at my job.

The office staff is always so pleasant and professional. You feel right at home right when you walk in. Dr. Heidi is so nice and makes the kids feel comfortable, my toddlers didn't even mind while she looked in their mouths. I felt like everything was explained very well and I didn't leave concerned or with any questions. I recommend Bee Happy to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

What a gem! From the moment you walk in and are greeted by warm smiles, to the kind assistants who talk to the children through every step of the procedures, to Dr. Heidi who treats both parents and children with respect, this is a remarkably good way for children to begin their dental experiences. The whole office (from the waiting area well-stocked with toys to the colorfully inviting dental seats with cartoons playing in the ceiling to the rewards for children participating as best as they can) is designed for children to feel welcome and safe. Dr. Heidi non-judgmentally coached us through thumb sucking, pacifier use, and cavity prevention. She consistently comes up with creative and fun methods to help children who are scared. We have 4 children who all initially refused to open their mouths at the dentist who now happily hop up into the seats for their dental treatment thanks to Bee Happy. We feel especially grateful to have such a highly skilled pediatric dentist in our smallish coastal community.

Dr Heidi is very thorough and treats her patients as if they were her own. Just as any parent would show respect and support for the whole family not just the patient. I would highly recommend her ! She and her staff are friendly and helpful with any questions we had.

Have been taking my son here for years I have never once had a bad experience everyone who works here is fabulous and so good with my son!
