In addition to establishing an ethical and quality practice, Dr. Mike continues to spend time each year in continuing education in order to stay on top of the latest techniques and treatments. As a result of his commitment to the highest level of treatment for his patients, his work is being recognized. He was recently named one of New Jerseys Top Dentists by the New Jersey Top Docs committee. He was also recognized by DaVinci Labs for the quality and artistry of his fine work.
Dr. Jion Kim grew up in Southampton, New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with an economics minor. Following four years at Rutgers University, she attended Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Kim received awards from the Academy of Operative Dentistry and the American College of Prosthodontists for her work while at Boston University.
Following graduation, Dr. Kim completed a general practice residency at Morristown Medical Center (MMC). At MMC, she treatment planned and executed complex cases while treating patients with complicated and extensive medical histories, giving her a well-rounded residency experience. She firmly believes that dental education is an ongoing process. As new dental research expands and improves the technology available, she feels it is important for her to learn and grow as a practitioner through continuing education courses in order to improve her patients experience.

This dental office is great! Front staff are so friendly and answered all my insurance related questions promptly and thoroughly. All the other staff including the hygienists and doctors are very thorough with their exams and dental work! Definitely recommend anyone to this office.

Great dentist if money is no object. But not cost effective - $7100 for a replacement one tooth bridge without complications is 3x national average. (I have done this twice in the more upscale DC metro and the bill was $3100-$3500). I was blindsided because I naively assumed a normal process: the office is no fancier than your average dated suburban dentist, cramped with 30-yr old furniture and equipment, and I was NEVER OFFERED A COST ESTIMATE or predetermination of benefits - I would be suspicious and not have committed to such an outlier. Front desk staff is nowhere near competent to the level one would expect for these prices, and not making an effort to work with-or be informed- about insurance. They were off by 30% in their favor, even when I pointed out Aetna policy,, and they had to recalculate, update and refund me after this post. Lesson learned, don't trust they are working in your best interest. Off to look for a great dentist whose first priority isn't $$$

Had toothache on #11 and called Dr. Mike's office. I was told to take Advil for pain which helped a lot and was taken the next day. Dr. Kim identified the need for root canal and started treatment immediately while put on antibiotics. Pain subsided same day and now I'm on my way to recovery...problem solved. Thank you Dr Mike, Dr. Kim and staff for taking good care of me when I needed it mostly.

A really pleasant experience. Everyone from the staff to the physician were extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. I highly recommend seeing Doctor Mike and Jennifer! Updated 2/22/21: Just had my 6 month cleaning. They are the best, love my hygenist.

Had a check up, x-rays and cleaning today! My hygienist, Renita, is awesome. Based on the pandemic, the office is handling with guidelines in place and always professional and personable. I've been a patient for 10+ years and am extremely happy to be their one of many patients.

Dr. Mike and his staff are amazing ! They all do such a thorough and gentle job while cleaning your teeth and or having x-rays taken. They are also so open and honest with you which is so reassuring. They examine your X-rays along with you and show you if you have any spots of concern. I 100% recommend !

Dr. Mike, Renata and the entire team at Bedminster Family and Cosmetic Dentistry are amazing! When I first went I hadn't been to a dentist in years because I didn't have insurance and right away I knew I made the right choice. Before even starting they asked me a lot of questions about my previous experiences and worked to understand what fears I may have about going to the dentist. The teams works to make sure you feel comfortable and really gets to know you. I have been going here for years and can honestly say everyone I've ever met there has been caring and friendly and the they really work to get you the best smile possible!

I always felt comfortable at the practice as the staff is both professional and personable. Despite the COVID-19 protocols, the office has maintained the same warm professional atmosphere. I felt beyond safe and was treated with the utmost care and professionalism. I would recommend this practice to everyone.

Patients for 25 years and counting...LOVE hygienist Renita, Dr Mike, Carmen + Jennifer. Accessible and great communicators. Simply the BEST for our family, young and old.
