Dr. Gong earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University. While at Columbia, she was distinguished among her peers, receiving the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for outstanding and dedicated service to dentistry. Dr. Gong furthered her training and completed a rigorous three year residency in the specialty of Prosthodontics at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco.
Apart from her work with patients, Dr. Gong was a clinical instructor at University of the Pacific (UOP), Dugoni School of Dentistry. Her experience as an educator also includes having instructed other dentists in dental implants, researched at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Advanced Prosthodontics Research Lab, and presented at the Greater New York Dental Meeting. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Santa Clara Dental Society and regularly attends ACP meetings, Pacific Coast conferences, and other continuous-learning opportunities to stay ahead with the latest advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Gong is committed to providing the highest quality of care while remaining accessible to all the needs and concerns of her patients. She encourages questions from her patients and ensures her patients understand the aspects and choices of their treatment plan. Outside of the office, Dr. Gong enjoys traveling, photography, museums, reading, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two boys. She grew up a California native, is an experienced dental practitioner, and looks forward to improving your smile!

I came here for dental emergencies during my travels but decided to transfer to Dr. Gong as my general dentist afterward. Here are the reasons: First, she considers a patient more than an individual with a disease. She takes time and full attention to understand the concerns. I did not feel condescending of any sort but was treated with respect. Secondly, she takes more time to find the root cause of my tooth pain. She did not rush the treatment but went slow and made sure I was feeling comfortable. Explains her steps as she goes. Thirdly, she is very knowledgeable and confident in her skills to diagnose and treat. She did not make presumptuous conclusions without deep thought. Therefore, I think she is a great doctor and trust her for taking care of my smiles.

I am a new patient of Dr. Gong's. In my first couple of interactions with her, I was impressed by her apparent knowledge, by her patience in explaining things to me, by her obvious concern for my well being, and by the skill with which she treated me.

My family has been seeing Dr. Gong for many years, she has always been super professional and nice in person. She is the kind of doctor that you can blindly trust. I'm in general disappointed with America's healthcare system and services, but Dr. Gong is an absolute exception, she and the entire team make me actually enjoy visiting them, and I always leave with nice smiles.

My wife went to Dr Gong first and liked her so much that I joined her practice as well. We've been going to Dr Gong for the last few years and have found her and her staff to be excellent. She takes a lot of care, communicates fully as she is doing procedures on your mouth so you know exactly what is planned and what is going on, and has a gentle but deft touch. We have full confidence in her judgment. She took a special effort to squeeze me into her busy schedule when I needed a procedure before going out of town, and minimized paperwork. And she has maintained very careful Covid protections, such that none of her patients or staff have gotten sick from the office. My wife and I heartily recommend Dr Gong!

We were so fortunate to find Dr.Gong when we first came to the bay area 6 years ago. Initially we were trying to find a great dentist near my husband's work, so he can do his frequent treatment conveniently. Since then we have moved twice and his job location has moved far away. But Dr.Gong will always be our dentist as long as we still live in the bay area. For the past few years, She has done a lot of cleanings, fillings and crowns for us and everything worked out great. I used to be so scared of dental cleaning but not anymore with Dr.Gong. Actually I'm always happy to go to her office. She's so patient, genuine, considerate and professional. She only give us the most honest opinion instead of suggesting anything unnecessary. She takes great care of her patients and has a very high standard in her work. I strongly recommend Dr.Gong to be your family's dentist. Our daughter who's turning one year old will also go to her. I'm really looking forward to it. She must be great with kids since she is so genuine and kind.

I have had 4 crowns, 2 fillings, one implant + crown, and several cleanings done for me by Dr Gongs since 2014, when I became her patient. Her professionalism, care for her patient, and honesty is unparalleled by any other dentist I had had before. She will definitely be my, my wife's, and my children's dentist for as long as I live in the Bay Area. I highly recommend her.

I visited this office 5-6 times last 2 years. First visit, before the pandemic, was good. I got good impressions about her. I went back this spring for a small filling and a cleaning. For a small filling, she said " I didn't know how this small problem bothers you so much." For that small filling, I went to her office 4 times. Two visits for exam, one visit for filling, one visit for after filling. My portion for filling was $89. I never have paid for filling that much. Still that bothers me. She wears two masks and a face shield while I was laying down with my mouth open. Still she complains she doesn't get enough oxygen. She seems she doesn't care to do her job well, maybe she wants me to keep coming back for more with the same problem. And she told me to come back for deep cleaning also. I decided to go to my husband's dentist.

Undeniably one of the best dentists in the Bay Area with moral standards. I think people take her for granted not realizing how much she does without upcharging for more unnecessary fillings. One of the rare dentist I find for who I am willing to drive 2hours just to get service from.

I didn't have a good experience like other people here. I had gotten my root canal done from a very good endodontist specialist and afterwards, I needed to go back to the new DDS to do the filling. Dr Becky told me that i just needed to pay the co-pay for $64 so I decided to let her perform the procedure and paid after the filling procedure was done that day. However, when I got the bill few days later, I was surprised, that I have to pay another $105 more after insurance. The total cost for a small hole filling is $465 without insurance. Our family decided to find a better DDS in the south bay area. I don't like that the charges weren't transparent at this office.
