Voted top dentist by Grand Rapids Magazine, Dr. Daniel W. Grode, D.D.S. takes patient care to the highest level. His idea to pursue a career as a dentist began at a very young age. This life-long goal allowed Dan to fulfill his desire to help others and each day he could not be happier with his decision.
His path to dentistry includes receiving a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University followed by attending University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry for his Doctor in Dental Surgery.
Dan is active in the professional community as he is the current chair of the West Michigan District Dental Society New Dentist Forum. He is also a member of the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
After growing up in West Michigan, Dr. Cory Ball is thrilled to return to the area he called home forhis entire childhood. It is certainly a dream come true to return to the area to provide quality dentalservices to the community he loves.
EducationDr. Ball attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for his undergraduate degree where he majored in biology and minored in German. Directly after undergrad, he continued onto dental school at U of Ms dental program where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. At the end of his tenure at U of M, Dr. Ball was awarded the comprehensive care award for being one of the top clinicians in his class as well as the Academy of Operative Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology Awards.
Dr. Ball has always had a passion for mentoring and volunteering. Throughout dental school, he heldvarious positions for the philanthropic fraternity, Alpha Omega. The volunteer events Dr. Ball hasparticipated in include Mission of Mercy, Taft clinic, Give Kids a Smile, Sports Mouthguard clinic, etc.The learning has not stopped for Dr. Ball after school. He continues to take various continuingeducation courses to broaden his knowledge and scope so he can treat many different patientconcerns to the best of his ability. One of his favorite ways to help patients is through sleep dentistryso patients can get the best night sleep, feel their the best version of themselves, and help preventother health concerns.
When not behind the drill, Dr. Ball enjoys spending time with his family in Grand Rapids and his wife, Cara. On weekends and evenings, you would find Cara and Dr. Ball hanging out together watching new shows on Netflix, playing new board games, or watching sports. Dr. Ball is a big Chicago sports fan and, of course, Michigan. Go Blue!

This place is amazing. From the smiles in the entry room to the family style banter in the chair, this place has it all. Professionally warming from the minute you walk in. I came in the other day thinking that I had a cleaning and ended up being able to get some long awaited work done that I've been dreading for years. My initial fear to this process was quickly wiped away by the staff. I went through a few hours of work and although I walked out with a numb face, my smile was internally ear to ear. I can't thank the staff enough for being so amazing at their job that I almost fell asleep during a root canal (no joke). I highly recommend this office! This was my first time coming here and I will be a forever patience from here on. I had recently transferred from a friend of mine, who owned his own practice because it was just too far too drive. So many thanks to Erin Diotte for suggesting this office, now that my face isn't numb anymore, people can see my try smile for this office. Thanks again for an amazing experience and I actually look forward to the dentist now!

Been a patient since I was a kid. Still a patient even though it is no longer the closest dentist to me. It is worth the drive. Went in today and it was not the usual Tuesday night crew I have gotten used to over the years, but they were just as amazing! This new crew knows their stuff! Got to try out one of the two new chairs they got for their lefty dentist, and they are so comfy. Could easily fall asleep in one.

Everyone is helpful and care is very focused on the patient needs. When I moved to Grand Rapids it took me 7 years to find a dentist who would pay attention to what I was saying and needed . My family loves going to Dr Grode.
