Cody Coleman was born in Whittier, California, but spent most of his childhood in the small town of Koosharem, Utah. After graduating from high school and spending two years in Ireland, Dr. Coleman returned to finish his undergraduate degree in zoology at Brigham Young University. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School.
Dr. Coleman has lived and practiced dentistry in Farmington for more than 10 years. Having assembled an exceptional team, Dr. Coleman is able to provide the highest quality of dental care to all his patients. Dr. Coleman is continually improving his practice with the newest techniques and products to bring state-of-the-art, personalized dental care in a caring, safe environment. He has also participated in the building of and opening of multiple dental practices in New Mexico and Colorado. Dr. Coleman is an avid outdoorsman and takes advantage of the beauty of New Mexico and Colorado by spending time camping with his wife and children.
Dr. Michael Tobler is a pediatric dentist practicing at Beckland Dental Kids. He lives in the area with his wife and three children. He grew up in Montrose, Colorado, and attended BYU in Provo, Utah, where he received a Bachelor of Science in physical education with an emphasis in exercise science. During that time, he took a two-year hiatus from his studies to serve a mission in Russia. He attended the University of Colorado School for Dental Medicine, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Tobler practiced dentistry several years in western Colorado before deciding to specialize in pediatric dentistry. After seeing a number of children in the practice, Dr. Tobler felt inspired to pursue advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry. He moved with his family to Rochester, New York, and worked and studied at Golisano Childrens Hospital, where he received his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry.
After residency, Dr. Tobler returned to western Colorado, where he started and operated his own independent private practice before deciding to move to Farmington. He is an experienced clinician and is committed to the highest quality of care. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and both state and local dental societies. Dr. Tobler loves outdoor recreation, nearly all sports (especially soccer), reading and writing, and being involved with his church and other community efforts. He especially loves spending time with his family.
Very pleasant visit, from the check-in, the assistant , the Doctor then lastly, checking out ( go over all procedure/questions/concerns) EVERYONE explained & treated my Daughter in a way that a 5yr old understood & explained as they were going making every step at ease & in a 'kid friendly ' manner!! Definitely one of the BEST visits we have ever had & my daughter actually wants to go back? Thank you!!
Our dentists and team make great effort to educate your teenager on the best ways to keep their teeth clean and what snacks and drinks to choose to avoid cavities and swollen gums. They have many tools and ideas on how to make teenagers more responsible for their oral health without making them feel lectured. This is also a time to evaluate wisdom teeth and coordinate care with their orthodontist.

My granddaughters loves going to the Dentist! The staff always makes them feel comfortable and very special! Then they always get quality dental care! Hope's visit today was perfect

Absolutely terrible. I'm so mad at this place for only caring about $$. They don't care to communicate. They just want to sign you up for things that aren't covered by insurance, don't communicate that, then refuse to treat your child. Terrible. Do not recommend. I wish I could type the entire story.

My daughter recommended that I take her little sister here because she takes my grandson to Beckland dental! They are amazing! I love how they explained everything they were doing! My daughters 9 and she was so worried! But they made her so comfortable she didn't cry or anything! They showed her all the tools they had to use! And told her how they worked! I'm so glad I took my daughter here! Thank you so much for how wonderful you were with her!

My kids were so scared to go to the dentist, but once I took them here, and they know it's a safe environment they aren't scared but excited to go!! Definitely recommend for anyone with younger children.

After several years of seeing another dental office in the area & having it be a pressure for an obvious money grab, lack of proper care, etc. we found Beckland Dental Kids. THANK YOU hardly covers the ABSOLUTE GRATITUDE I have for them. Their dentist & staff are INCREDIBLE. Our daughter has very unique health challenges & has endured a great deal of medical trauma in the last few years; having lost her left kidney to a rare medical condition. They are careful, mindful of what she can/can't take/have but are SO GENTLE. They take their time & dont make the experience feel rushed/chaotic & they aren't shaming your kids or you - for any dental situation they are needing fixed. The dentist is HONEST in his suggestions for treatment. Ive just had OTHER offices make you feel like you are a burden, as YOU are paying them for halfway done treatment that often results in later root canals, etc. and BECKLAND DENTAL KIDS makes you feel welcomed, appreciated but more than that...CARED FOR. Traci & Judy & Dr. Tobler took incredible care of both my girls & for that, I am incredibly grateful. I left in a place of peace & calm rather than stress, fear & tears. Being that our family has endured so much the last few years, I appreciate this so very much. Its so hard to trust people with the care & treatment of your kids from medical to dental & beyond. We are going to be with Beckland Kids until we just cant be any longer due to age. OUR FAMILY HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THEM. The local art work is simply the icing on the cake. I love seeing what comes from the minds of our local kids! Please get your kids into them for dental & ortho next door with Endrizzi Orthodontics! You will NOT be sorry. I PROMISE! EDITED TO ADD: THEY HAVE THE CLEANEST OFFICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. NOT KIDDING. IT IS SPOTLESS. I AM DEEPLY IMPRESSED ON THAT LEVEL.

Everything was perfect. They were recommended by my girlfriend, who is a professional Dental Assistant in Durango. The front desk staff were efficient (I was still filling out paperwork when we were called) and helpful, the hygienist was excellent with my kids and very fast, and the Dentist was very personable and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be taking my kids here as long as we live in Farmington.

Beckland Dental Kids is the absolute worst dental clinic I went to. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The dentist, Michael, acted extremely unprofessionally. He talked to me for a very long time trying to persuade me into a unnecessary treatment plan for my kid that I was not comfortable with. He billed me for crowns when no crown was needed. I went to different dental office who verified that no crown was needed. Furthermore, they have been overcharging me for dental visits and procedures until they were contacted by my insurance to fix the fraudulent charges. They fixed these fraudulent charges after they were investigated by my dental insurance. They are only in this for the money. I recommend checking with your insurance before paying any bill to Beckland Dental Kids. Moreover Beckland Dental Kids staff do not care about patient privacy. They violated my HIPPA and someone else's as well. I don't recommend Beckland Dental Kids to anyone. Save yourself the trouble. There are so many other real dentists for kids in the area.

I'm so impressed with Beckland Dental, although the waitlist can be long for big dental apps(fillings, procedures) they strive to get your child's dental needs provided for! The staff is amazing so patient and reassuring for children who are nervous to be at the dentist office they have a good dental game plan and try to get you in for a tooth emergency asap. The office is clean and modern and big! Definitely feel good about taking my kids here!

Beckland Dental Kids is the worst dental place in town. They don't care about patient privacy. They violated my HIPPA and someone else's which I had to report. Beckland Dental overcharged me $1200 when the actual balance was $900. They fixed this after my insurance contacted them to fix the overcharged price 5 months later. Moreover, Beckland Dental billed me for unnecessary treatments for their financial gain. The dentist was not professional. He added unnecessary treatment for 2 crowns when no crown was needed at all. I went to a different dentist who verified that no crown was needed. Their customer service is bad; especially the receptionist, who was very rude and unprofessional. I don't recommend Beckland Dental Kids to anyone.
