Patient sucked her thumb as a young child. She started treatment at age 13. She had braces and a special appliance called a crib to retrain the tongue, for 28 months. Now she can bite the lettuce out of a sandwich.

This adult patient, age 25, required braces and jaw surgery to correct his severe overbite, with treatment taking two years. His problem could have been corrected without surgery if he had been treated before he was a teenager.

This patient 's lateral incisors were congenitally missing. She had braces for 20 months to move the teeth into their correct positions, then the missing teeth were replaced with bonded 'Maryland' bridges.

Patient's underbite was causing her jaw joint discomfort and excessive wear patterns on her teeth. After about 30 months of treatment starting at age 32, she now finds smiling and chewing much easier.

At age 10, patient had a big overjet with the top teeth protruding beyond the bottom. She had two phases of treatment. The first helped her jaws to grow more harmoniously and the second aligned her teeth and bite. At age 13, she was proudly displaying her new smile.

Sometimes braces are not needed to get noticeable improvements in tooth alignment. This patient was first seen at age seven for crowding of the lower permanent teeth. A procedure was performed to reduce the width of the adjacent baby teeth and the permanent incisors aligned on their own in nine months.

Patient's parents were concerned about both aesthetics and the health of the erupting permanent teeth when they brought him to the orthodontist at age eight. The lower front teeth were crowded and touching the palate, and the upper front teeth were extremely displaced from their normal positions.

I grew up in Allentown in Pennsylvanias Lehigh Valley. I currently reside in Eagleville with my wife who is also in the healthcare field and our three daughters. When Im not in the office I enjoy going to the beach or national parks with my family.

Lisa is what we call a lifer- she has been with the practice since 1981. A lifelong resident of Phoenixville, she graduated from Phoenixville Area High School. She and her husband, Richard, have two daughters; one is a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist at Geisinger Hospital, and the other one is a clinical research coordinator at Einstein Medical Center. In her spare time, you can find Lisa at Reservoir Dog Park with Daria, her 8-year-old black lab/ black and tan coon hound, or in Bloomsburg visiting with her new granddaughter! Lisas favorite part of this practice is all the beautiful smiles that are created year after year and the happiness that it brings to so many people!

Lauren joined the Becker team in December 2019. She attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she studied Public Health. She has worked in customer service for 10 years with a passion for making people smile. In her spare time, Lauren loves to go on hikes, visit her beach house in Long Beach Island, NJ, and spend time with her family.

Carissa joined the Becker team in November of 2016. She has a degree from Contemporary Health Career Institute with a focus in dental assisting. In conjunction with her degree, she brings her 11 years of customer service to Becker Orthodontics. When Carissa is not at the office, she spends her time on upcycling projects, working out, and binge-watching her favorite shows.

Katie joined the orthodontics team here at Becker in March of 2020. A proud graduate of The University of Pittsburgh, Katie holds a Bachelors degree athletic training. She much appreciates the ability to positively affect someones day through her work. When not adjusting smiles, Katie enjoys crafting, adventures, and quality time spent with quality people (and dogs).

Amber is a Penn State graduate. She has her Bachelors degree in in Kinesiology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on a boat in Ocean City, NJ with her family or at the Chesapeake Bay with her boyfriend. She also loves snuggling and playing with her champagne lab, Levi.

Kat Joined the Becker Team August 2020. She attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor's in Integrated Biology. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, playing volleyball, and spending time with my boyfriend Chad and their puppy Koda. Her favorite part being a clinical assistant is creating beautiful smiles. She loves how the simple act of smiling can have such a positive impact on someones day!
