Dr. Becker moved to Livermore, CA when he was two years old. From Manhattan, Kansas, his father was employed as a physicist at Lawrence Livermore Lab. Dr. Becker grew up in Livermore where he attended East Avenue Elementary and Livermore High. After graduating from high school he earned a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Sacramento State University.

Dr. Becker furthered his education by attending UCSF School of Dentistry where he was recognized for his 'Professional Development.' While at UCSF Dental School he volunteered for special rotations serving Veterans and individuals with special needs.
