Dr. Beck-Uhl grew up in Southern California, and received a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in 1985. She then continued her studies at the UCLA School of Dentistry, and graduated in 1989. She came to Goleta shortly after graduation, and has been practicing dentistry at her current location since 1992. Her passion in dentistry is building relationships with patients, and making them feel comfortable, so they are not afraid of dental care.

Dr. Beck-Uhl was President of the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society in 2019. She enjoys volunteering with this organization, which helps dentists, and helps provide dental services for underprivileged children in our community., She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society. She keeps up to date with Continuing Education courses to be able to provide the most advanced care possible.

Aubrey, our Registered Dental Hygienist, has a Bachelor of Science degree from Loma Linda University. She proudly exhibits her skills and expertise in prevention of gum disease with an emphasis on patient education, to help our patients maintain optimal oral health. Aubrey has been with our office since Jan. 2012. She is very gentle and thorough, and is genuinely dedicated to making sure your dental experience is positive.

Lori is our second Registered Dental Hygienist. She started her dental career as an assistant, and with her love of dentistry went on to further her education to obtain her Dental Hygiene degree. She started working with us several years ago, and assists us with our busy dental hygiene schedule.

Adriana is our Chairside Dental Assistant. Her attention to detail ensures a comfortable atmosphere for your dental treatment needs. Adriana oversees all back office duties, and is X-ray licensed. She has worked with us for over ten years.
