At Beck Family Dental, we are here for you. Our goal is to help preserve and, when necessary, restore the oral health of each of our patients. We know that beautiful, strong teeth help improve lives and are committed to providing our patients with excellent service in a caring and comfortable environment.

Dr. Beck grew up in the small town of Sandy, Oregon and is the eighth of ten kids. His wife, Alicia, also grew up in a large family as the youngest of eleven kids. Dr. Beck and his wife met in Logan, Utah while attending Utah State University. They were married in May of 2002 and are the proud, and sometimes exhausted, parents of five boys and one girl. The Beck family loves to spend time together hiking, mountain biking, playing card and board games, watching movies, and reading. They also enjoy playing just about any sport and getting involved in the community. Dr. Beck serves on the AYSO/GCYSO board for the community soccer league here in Silver City, and his wife helps run the Grant County College Bound program. The Beck family has grown to love the Silver City community and the people in it.

After Dr. Beck graduated from high school, he was able to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When he returned from his mission, he attended college at Utah State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering. Upon graduation from Utah State, Dr. Beck attended the University of Michigan and received a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering. While attending school in Michigan, he realized he wanted a career where he could interact more directly with others and truly help them improve their lives. Dentistry was exactly what he was looking for. Dr. Beck attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and graduated in 2012. To his delight, dentistry has proven to be a very fulfilling career. Dr. Beck thoroughly enjoys getting to know the people he serves as he works with them to improve their oral health.

Dr. Becks philosophy as a dentist is to treat each patient as if he or she was a member of his own family. In fact, that is one of the reasons he decided to call his practice Beck Family Dental. Dr. Beck will always treat his patients with the same quality of care he would provide for members of his own family. Dr. Beck will work with patients to help them understand different treatment options and assist them in determining the best plan. He will help educate his patients on how to take control of their oral health. Dr. Beck is committed to providing the people he serves with exceptional dental care in a comfortable, positive environment.

Anais Polanco was born and raised in Silver City. She is very family oriented and has one son who means the world to her. Anais is an NMSU/DACC graduate, whose initial pursuit was the College of Business. In transit, she found her admiration for dentistry, leading to a change in career paths. She served as the president of the Dental Assisting Program at Dona Ana Community College in 2011, prior to becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2013. She enjoys hiking, reading, traveling and embarking on new adventures. Getting to know her patients from all walks of life and learning from them is a great joy for Anais. Linking a career with a passion for serving the community has been ideal for her. Anais considers working alongside Dr. Beck and serving patients at Beck Family Dental a privilege and an honor.

Sunshine was born in Washington state near Seattle. She moved to Silver City in the spring of 2012, and it didn't take long for her to fall in love with the sunny weather and the people of Grant county. Sunshine started working at the front desk of our office in 2017 and discovered a love for dental and helping people. She is now our hygiene assistant. Sunshine enjoys spending her free time with her husband, friends, and family. She loves working with patients at Beck Family Dental and is grateful for the opportunities she has with our office.

Sue was born in Wisconsin. She later attended Palomar College in San Diego. Sue initially worked in another dental office as a dental assistant but later moved to the front office. She has over 25 years of experience in scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and patient care. Sue moved to Silver City from Oregon about one and a half years ago. Sue enjoys taking walks, hiking, reading, and being with family. She is proud to be part of the wonderful team at Beck Family Dental.

Jessica is a Certified Dental Assistant and a proud mom of two beautiful daughters. She was born and raised in Silver City and graduated from Silver High School in 2003. Jessica has been working in the dental field since 2009. She started as a receptionist and then began helping as an assistant in 2010. Jessica became a full time dental assistant in 2011. Between 2011 and 2014, she completed the required on the job training hours, earned her dental assisting certification through the Dental Assisting National Board, and received her official New Mexico CDA licensing in 2014. Jessica absolutely loves being a dental assistant and helping people feel great about their smile. She thoroughly enjoys being a part of the wonderful team at Beck Family Dental and helping the community in their dental journeys.

Brooke Palacio was born and raised in Silver City and has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2010 with 2 years working with a Periodontist. She attended Dona Ana Community College in Las Cruces where she received an associate degree in general studies and graduated from the Dental Assisting Program in 2010. After graduating she earned her certification through the Dental Assisting National Board and her CDA licensing for New Mexico. She is married and has two sons and two step-sons. Brooke loves being a part of making people feel good about their smile and is proud to join Dr. Beck as part of his team at Beck Family Dental.

Michelle Soto is a Grant County native. Raised in the small town of Hanover, NM. She graduated from Cobre High School in 2000. She became a dental assistant through on the job training in 2007 and has been proudly serving her community since. She is the mother of four children, two girls and two boys, who she considers her greatest accomplishments.
