I believe dentistry provides a real opportunity to help people, and in some cases, change and improve their lives. I get a feeling of satisfaction when I can say I made someones life better. I have enjoyed growing with my patients and developing long-term relationships with them.
I attended Jesuit High School in Portland before enrolling at Carroll College in Helena, Montana for my undergraduate degree. I continued my training at Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry where I received my Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. I have had the good fortune to practice as a Beaverton dentist at the Beaverton Dental Center since 1987.
I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but have lived in Southwest Portland for more than 50 years. My wife, Nancy, and I have two children, Robert and Catherine. In my free time I enjoy gardening, photography and cooking.

I earned my dental hygiene degree from Portland Community College and my Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Oregon Institute of Technology. I have been with Beaverton Dental Center since 2007. The best part of my job is being able to provide my patients with the highest quality of dental care, coupled with education and encouragement in a comfortable environment. Our doctors and team at the Beaverton dental office enjoy building long-term relationships with patients and their families. I enjoy helping patients find their healthiest smile.
I have been with Beaverton Dental Center since 2018 and brought with me many years of experience and a passion for dentistry. I trained near my home town in Massachusetts and come from a dental family. My mother was a hygienist and my uncle and great uncle were both dentists in Newport, Rhode Island. After moving to the west coast and living in California for many years, I settled in Hillsboro 23 years ago. I enjoy bringing a warm smile and a love of people to the office and I practice with humor and great compassion for my patients.
