The Beavers Family Dentistry practice is presently within our fourth decade of business. We strive to accomplish two distinct yet related goals: to provide the optimum in dental health services while forming open and communicative relationships with our patients.
The field of dentistry has seen dramatic changes over the years. New materials, technologies, and techniques have given practitoners the means to perform dramatic transformations. Preventive dental advancements allow dentists to provide patients useful tools in an effort to care for their own teeth. Restorative and cosmetic advances allow patients who desire optimum form, function, and appearance to realize those goals. Regardless of the dental concerns, the most dramatic changes occur in the patients: someone who feels good, looks good, and enjoys the vitality that all the advances in dentistry can bestow.
In addition to general and cosmetic dentistry, Beavers Family Dentistry works closely with specialists in Periodontics, Implants, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery. With this team, the Beavers family of dentists emphasizes comprehensive care, comfortable experiences, and preventive techniques.
Dr Paul loves his family farm and the 20 years he worked there with his brothers. But at a young age, Paul decided he did not want to work the land forever; he prefers a climate controlled atmosphere. In the 8th grade Paul wrote his first paper on dentistry and says this combined with the guidance of his two dentist uncles were influences on his decision. Plus, he enjoys helping patients improve and maintain their dental health.
NASCAR races, snow skiing, boating, and fifth wheel camping with his wife fill Pauls time when hes not with patients. He and his wife Jean have a daughter, three sons, two of whom work in the family business, and twelve grandchildrenfour granddaughters and eight grandsons.
Dr. Jonathan offers many reasons why he chose dentistry as his profession the most important is helping and interacting with people. He says assisting patients to feel better about their experiences at the dentist is one of his favorite aspects of his work. His philosophy is to provide the highest quality dental care to each patient without discomfort in a timely manner.
Jonathan joined his father, Paul, at the family practice in 2000 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in biology and earning a D.D.S from the UNC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Leah originally hails from the small southern town of Cottonport, Louisiana. After watching her two older brothers and older sister become practicing dentists, Leah realized the profession was the right place for her as well. She attended Louisiana State University for both undergraduate and professional degrees (Geaux tigers!).
While attending dental school in New Orleans, Leah fell in love with the music, food, and culture, as well as her future husband Mark. Their family numbers six strong with four sons George, William, Luke, and Henry. Leah enjoys travelling, visiting her huge family in Louisiana (she loves being an aunt), and painting.
I enjoy being in a field that is continually evolving and getting better. I love sharing with people the knowledge Ive learned so they no longer need to be in the dark, and can make their own educated decisions. I believe that a beautiful, healthy smile leads to self-confidence and an increased quality of life.
Dr. Mark enjoys talking, joking and learning about his patients. In fact, after growing up with his father, Paul, and brother, Jonathan, as dentists he knew this was right for him. He realized that being a dentist would allow him to build relationships with patients while he helped them look and feel better.
Mark joined the practice in 2004 after earning his D.D.S. at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He also attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a B.S. in biology and B.A. in history.
Mark has an interest in music as well. He plays the guitar, banjo, dobro and an assortment of other instruments. He also enjoys traveling, reading, and keeping up with his sons George, William, Luke, and Henry.

Always timely and friendly service. They are great with monitoring issues, not just fixing issues to get $$$. They take care of you very well, great safety and good at explaining problems.

Went in the other week to get my teeth cleaned, was very disturbed to over hear one employee talking about how much she hates working there and said many very rude things about coworkers, did not seem like she knew patients were around at the time. I quite honestly couldn't tell you what she did in the office either. I hope this gets fixed with this employee as it made me not want to use this dentist. Poor attitude

This is kind of strange... but I found myself missing these dentists tonight. I recently moved away, but I grew up going here. On Dr Beavers birthday about 10 years ago, they let me play my bass clarinet to play happy birthday for her, which was super cool for a 6th grader. They're so personable and kind to everyone, they make you feel comfortable and welcome. I've recently started taking better care of my teeth (flossing daily, brushing the whole 2 minutes, etc) and I thought to myself "man, they'd be so proud of me", which is weird to think about a dentist, but if you want a good dentist, get one you aspire to make proud. Go to the Beavers Family Dentistry:)

I've been a patient of Dr. Jonathan Beavers for a few years & I cannot imagine ever going anywhere else! Every staff member in this office is extremely professional and always courteous. Just today, I needed to have a tooth extracted...it started out going well, and then the last section of my tooth didn't want to leave...it literally was hanging on for dear life..:) I felt so bad because he and his assistant Nancy were staying late to make sure I didn't leave until it was properly completed. They are always cognitive of putting their patients at ease and ensure that whatever procedure you are faced with, it will be without pain and it will be done correctly. Jonathan excepts nothing less than as close to perfection a human can make it. There are simply not enough kind words to express how much I love and appreciate this practice. I'd recommend them to anyone that wants personalized, caring, professional dental care!

First time writing a review but found out today that as an established patient unable to get an appointment until March of 2019 due to Dr. Beavers retirement. Find that unacceptable. Guess I will be looking for another dentist rather than the practice looking for another.

Beavers Family Dentistry in Apex has been my family's dentist and orthodontist for many years. They have consistently delivered the very best care and service. My family has been going to Jonathan for over 15 years. Very laid back attitude and very stable (we've had the same hygienist the whole time). Love these guys.

I saw Dr. Lea and her team, and they were awesome! They're skilled and friendly, took time to answer all my questions completely and were extremely flexible. I got a crown with them, and they recommended a terrific Endodontist and did an outstanding job of communicating and coordinating with her, making a potentially difficult and stressful process easy. I'm really glad to have found them, and glad to have them as "my" dentist! Highly recommended.
