Dr. Yang is trained in implants, simple periodontal surgery, endodontics, and fixed and removable prostheses. He is dedicated to the newest advancements in cosmetic dentistry and keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies.
In his free time, Dr. Yang enjoys bicycling along the American River Parkway with his wife and son. Dr. Yang has a knack for using his 3D printer to design various objects, such as chess pieces and other small trinkets. His young son, Dylan, takes after his dads love of building and creating items. One of their favorite pastimes is making Legos. Dr. Yangs favorite novel is Enders Game and his favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption.
Desiree is a Woodland native. She and her sons spend their free time exploring and hiking around the area. Desiree stays active in the gym and jogging outdoors, she also loves cooking new recipes for her family.
Karen began her dental hygiene career in 1983 after graduating from Northwestern University in Chicago Illinois. She worked as a dental hygienist for 10 years in Chicago before returning to California with her family. Karen has been with the practice for over a decade and enjoys seeing patients familiar faces regularly. Outside of work Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and raising their three children.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Yang and his team at Beautiful Smiles. Dr. Yang's careful and considerate ways of making me feel comfortable is only rivaled by his incredible dentistry expertise. His staff is vigilant about appointment reminders, clearly explaining any procedure and the costs associated, and offering the very latest in new technologies. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Was scheduled for surgery this morning and blindsided with $$$$ in extra out of pocket costs that they did not go over with me at any point. and were unwilling to work with the payment. Had they informed me of my Total out of pocket expenses I would have came prepared I already have enough anxiety when it comes to dentist and the lady at the front desk had an attitude from the start like I was SUPPOSED to know all of this. Unacceptable!

This is the first place that has made me feel welcome and relaxed for as long as I can remember. They work with my anxiety and do what they can to make me feel comfortable and ready for the visit. They all do a fantastic job. I would recommend this Dentist office to anyone and everyone!

This is the first place that has made me feel welcome and relaxed for as long as I can remember. They work with my anxiety and do what they can to make me feel comfortable and ready for the visit. They all do a fantastic job. I would recommend this Dentist office to anyone and everyone!

The staff was very professional and accommodating to my needs. The receptionist checked to make sure I was attended to within my limited time frame which was very important to me since I came on my lunch break.
