Doctor Graver feels fortunate to be able to practice in the same county in which he was born and raised. One of thirteen children, he was the only child in his family to be born in York Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Spring Grove Area High School and served a two-year proselyting mission, for his church, in Southern Italy; with most of his time spent in Sicily.
He met and married his wife, Tara, from Bloomington/Normal, IL at Ricks College in Rexburg, ID in 1992. After transferring to Brigham Young University in Provo, UT he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Botany with an emphasis in Premedicine/Predentistry in 1997.
In 2002 he graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia Universitys School of Dentistry.Immediately upon graduation, he began his career as an associate at a local dental office in York, PA. While working as an associate he gained the vision to start his own practice. In 2005, Dr. Graver with much help from his wife opened Beautiful Smiles Family Dental Center, Inc. In the twelfth year of marriage, Dr. and Mrs. Graver felt their family was complete with the birth of their second son and sixth child.
He found that this key opened the door for anyone to receive dental care. At the completion of 2015, Dr. Graver fulfilled his dream of completing a hospital-based residency in anesthesiology at St. Barnabas Hospital in The Bronx of New York City. Like with medicine, Dr. Graver knows first-hand that high-quality anesthesia/sedation dentistry is the gateway to great and comprehensive dental care. He strives to educate all patients that prevention is the key to good oral health. He recognizes that the unwavering support of his wife Tara made this final academic step in his career possible and he is most grateful to her.
Currently, Dr. Graver team-teaches with Tara a Sunday school class of seven to eight year-old children each Sabbath. During each week and at least one weekend a month, he serves Troop 177 as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Away from work and church, Dr. Graver enjoys working in his yard and family vegetable garden. In the future, Dr. Graver hopes to re-commence his hobby of RV camping with his wife, children, and grandchildren wherever the open road, family, and friends are found.
Tara was born and raised in Illinois. She received her Associates Degree in Office Education in 1993. Tara coordinates the payroll and accounts payable functions at the practice. She is also heavily involved in coordinating patient care. Away from the practice, she is the mother of six wonderful children, a member of her church, and also enjoys stamping and scrap booking.
Aileni grew up in Dover and graduated from Dover Area High School in 2011. She currently lives in Newberry with her husband and dogs. Aileni attended Harrisburg Area Community College and received her Associates degree in dental hygiene in 2015. In her free time she enjoys being with her family, cooking, hunting, fishing, and taking care of her garden and animals.
Jennifer was raised in Woodbine and attended Glenelg High School in Howard County, Maryland. After a satisfying 15-year career as a restaurant general manager, Jennifer decided to attend the D.A.T.S. of MD & VA course before moving to Mechanicsburg with her loving boyfriend, Anth. As she learned more about dentistry, she discovered that it was her passion. She became radiology certified in 2019. Continuing education is important to Jennifer, leading her to receive her DANB infection control certification with plans to eventually become an expanded functions dental assistant. In her spare time she enjoys crafting, cooking, and learning new things.
Madison was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She graduated from Washington High School in 2017. Shortly after graduation she moved to York, PA. She has lived here in York, PA for 4 years now and loves it. Madison took a job in Lancaster, PA that trained her in their intense 6 week training course to become an EMT. Madison continues to serve her community as an EMT at night while working here at Beautiful Smiles during the day. She uses her EMT certification here at our office for our sedations. In her free time she loves hanging out with her friends and family, camping and the beach.
Cynthia Cindy Stine was born in Baltimore, MD and moved to Pennsylvania when she was 5yrs old. She graduated from Dallastown Area High School in 1989. After a few years of working full-time in various places she decided to attend Yorktowne Business Institute in the Medical Office Assistant program. She graduated from YBI with a Bachelors Degree in 1995. Cindy lives in Dallastown with her husband of 23yrs, Curtis and their two daughters Hannah and Carissa. In her spare time Cindy enjoys watching the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel, she love scrapbooking and is a consultant for Creative Memories.
Elaine grew up in northern Pennsylvania but has now lived in the York area for the past seven years. She is a Dental Hygienist and has worked at Beautiful Smiles since 2010. She worked full-time before starting a family in 2013. She and her husband, Matt, now have three lively children aged 6, 4, and 2. When Elaine is not home with her adorable children she enjoys filling in at Beautiful Smiles and spending time with her friends and family.
Rebecca Becky Toms serves as the office manager at Beautiful Smiles. She has worked in dental management for over 10 years in the greater Harrisburg area. Prior to entering the dental field Becky attended college at Shenandoah Conservatory where she earned her Bachelors degree in Music Education and a Masters degree in Clarinet performance. While she still has a passion for music, Becky has submerged herself in the dental world. Her favorite part of practice management is evaluating office systems and protocols and implementing new strategies to provide the best experience for every patient. She loves getting to know patients and their families and looks forward to seeing them at each visit. Becky lives in Dillsburg with her fianc Luke, and their three children.
