Dr. Suh is the owner of Beaumont Smile Center. She grew up in Northwest Houston and has resided in Beaumont since 2001. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Baylor University, where she also received minors in Chemistry and Music. Dr. Suh also attended Lamar University for masters in business administration and sciences.
She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. Dr. Suh is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Southeast Texas Dental Society, and serves on the DENPAC board. Dr. Suh is currently serving as President for Southeast Texas Dental Society, and was nominated for the New Dentist of the Year in 2017 and is a Pankey-trained doctor.
She believes that learning never stops professionally and personally. Dr. Suh travels across the country to acquire the latest techniques. She also volunteers her time and dental skills to numerous organizations such as the Texas Mission of Mercy, Smiles on Wheels, Give Kids a Smile, and Dentistry with Heart.
Her passion is in foreign mission trips. She has traveled to numerous countries in Africa, South and Central America annually on mission trips. When Dr. Suh isn't practicing dentistry, she spends her time with her husband of twenty one years and two children.
Dr. Gerard Cascio, a proud fourth-generation Texan, was born and raised in Beaumont. He is a graduate of Msgr. Kelly High School, Lamar University, and the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.
Following a fellowship in San Antonio, he returned home to Beaumont in 1981 with his wife, Brenda, to open his private dental practice. Dr. Cascio and his wife enjoyed raising three grown daughters, Audrey, Elyse, and Madelyn.
When not at the dental chair, you will find him either on the golf course, at the driving range, playing the harmonica, or spending time at the lake with his girls, their husbands, and his grandchildren Vivienne, Bennett, Hazel, and Camille.
Dr. Charles Harrell was born and raised in Levelland, Texas, where he lived on a cotton farm. He graduated from Levelland High School before enrolling at Texas Tech University, where he met his wife, Patt. They were married in 1967.
After the marriage, he began his dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, where he graduated with high honors in 1971. He is then moved to Beaumont to begin his dental practice.
Dr. Harrell completed the Continuum courses at the L.D. Pankey Advanced Dentistry Institute in Miami, FL, where he served as a teaching assistant for 10 years while maintaining his private practice in Beaumont.
He was named a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 1990. The Sabine District Dental Society honored Dr. Harrell by naming him the Dentist of the Year in 1991. He maintains active membership in The L.D. Pankey Alumni Association, The American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, and Southeast Texas Dental Society.
Dr. Harrell is an active Deacon of his church. He enjoys fishing but mostly looks forward to time spent with his three daughters, Paige, Blythe, and Megan, and their husbands Wade, Fred, and Brian. He especially enjoys any opportunity to share in the lives of his grandchildren, Will, Clayton, Cooper, Cole, Quinn, Rylan, and Lyla.
Throughout dental school, Dr. Thornton devoted the majority of his time to dental laboratory work, challenging himself to enhance his hand skills. He owned and practiced in multiple dental offices in the DFW area, focusing on dental surgery and urgent care for those in need.
He has also received his implant certification from the Zimmer Implant Institute. Dr Thornton provides oral surgery services, which include wisdom teeth extraction and surgical extractions under IV sedation.
Dr. Andy Song was originallyborn in Incheron, South Korea and raised in Houston, Texas. He finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring inBiology. Dr. Song worked for a couple years outside of dentistry before he found his true calling for the profession and relocated to Chicago to complete his degree at Midwestern University. Dr. Song started to get involvedwith community outreach programs while in dental school and continues to volunteer his time to provide dental care to disadvantaged individuals at the Mission on Mercy.
He believesin conservative and honest dentistry. He values spending time with his patients, listening to their concerns, and going over treatment options with them in order to create a treatment plan that they are comfortable with while focusing on a problem-solving and preventative approach. Alleviatingpatient toothaches and helping them maintain their oral health is his favorite part of practicing dentistry.
She moved to Beaumont in 2005 due to her husbands position as a physician at Christus St.Elizabeth. She has had the pleasure of working with several Dentists in Southeast Texas, and hasbeen practicing dentistry in Beaumont. Since arriving here she added two wonderful children toher family. She is happy to make Beaumont her familys home.
