Dr. William Harvey III is passionate about dentistry and enjoys getting to know patients and treating them like family. Dr. Harvey studied at the Spear Institute, Garg Implant Institute, the Triangle Dental Institute for Oral Implantology, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Nash Institute and many others. As the President of the North Carolina Dental Associations Fifth District and a board member of several hospital and health department boards, he aspires to remain on the cutting edge of whole health, preventive care and strives not just to treat teeth, but patients as well.

Each year Dr. Harvey participates in hundreds of hours of continuing education over the required limits and is trained in a wide variety of specialty procedures including root canals, Invisalign, implants, and oral appliance alternatives to C-PAP machines. Dr. Harvey recently became one of several practitioners in the state to be certified in a new pinhole gum rejuvenation technique that provides a much less invasive alternative to traditional gum grafting. He has performed thousands of CEREC restorations and is thrilled to offer crowns in about an hour to better fit patients busy schedules. Dr. Harvey strives to provide the very best and most up-to-date treatment available to fit his patients desires and budgets.

Dr. Marcie Kanosky has a true passion for dentistry and providing quality patient care. She loves getting to know her patients personally and strives to make the dental office a positive and safe environment for them to receive care. She obtained her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degrees at West Virginia University. Dr. Marcie then went on to graduate from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following dental school, she was given the opportunity to further her education and complete a multi-disciplinary residency at East Carolina Universitys Community Service Learning Center in Lillington, NC. The time she spent serving the rural communities surrounding Lillington provided her with advanced training in all dentistry specialties, including prosthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, advanced aesthetics, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Marcie regularly participates in comprehensive dentistry education courses to continuously expand her knowledge and skills in general dentistry. She feels that it is important to stay up-to-date with the evolving techniques and materials, and to provide the highest quality and research-based dental treatment for her patients.

Patricia has been working in dentistry since 2018, when she graduated from Cape Fear Community College and obtained her license as a registered dental hygienist. While in Wilmington, she had her son, Joe, and started thinking about moving back home. Her home is down east, Carteret County, where she and her husband Danny grew up. Her favorite patients are children because they brighten her day! In her spare time, Patricia enjoys projects around her home, working in the garden, and hanging with her family and dogs. Patricia loves her days on the boat at the Cape.

Deidre has been with Beaufort Dental since April 2021 as a registered hygienist. Her passion is helping people care for their oral and systemic health! Deidre loves to educate her patients on how important it is to their overall health to care for their teeth and gums. The mouth is the gateway to the body! She is originally from Cedar Island and working here has reconnected her with a lot of people. Deidre lives in Carteret County with her boys, Jackson and George. In her spare time, Deidre enjoys boating and all our area has to offer. She loves the down east area.

Amanda was born and raised in Carteret County. After graduating high school, she attended Carteret Community College for two years. She became interested in dentistry after being a patient herself. She was asked by her dentist if she would like to train to become a dental assistant. She trained for two years, where she obtained x-ray, OSHA, and CPR certification. Amanda worked in this private dental practice for 7 years. Following that, she became a dental assistant for Carteret County Mobile Dental Clinic for children, where she worked for 11 years. Amanda has worked for Beaufort Dental since September 2019 and has made a positive impact on our team, patients, and the office atmosphere. You can find her always working with a smile. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son Harrison, family, and friends.
