Beatriz E. Terry was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After graduating high school from St. Brendan, she attended Florida International University. She completed her dental training at Marquette University School of Dentistry graduating Top 10 with Honors and receiving membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Terry then went on to complete a Masters program and residency in Periodontics and dental implants from the University of Minnesota and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest level attainable.
Dr. Terry has been a practicing periodontist for over 25 years. In addition to her practice, she lectures in English and Spanish locally and nationally on periodontics, dental implants and systemic links to periodontal disease. She is a member of the Advisory Board at Miami Dade College School of Dental Hygiene and a Florida Dental Board Examiner. In addition, she is very involved with organized dentistry. Dr. Terry is proud to have been nominated and inducted into several dental honor societies including Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
Family life is very important to Dr. Terry. She is married and has 3 children. She and her family enjoy traveling, snow skiing and fishing. In her free time, she enjoys spinning and the outdoors as well as attending local cultural events.
Sasha joined the Miami Implant Perio team in February 2020 and was an immediate perfect fit. She is fluent in English and Spanish and although young, demonstrates a maturity well beyond her years. She is extremely kind, and demonstrates great compassion towards her patients, their oral care and importance of education for prevention. Sasha is certified to administer local anesthesia and is well-trained in all non-surgical periodontal procedures
Nicole is new to dentistry. Prior to joining our team, Nicole worked in the hospitality field and medical sector. She has great customer service skills and is ready and willing to help our patients. Nicole is responsible for scheduling, assisting with dental benefit questions and all front desk managerial tasks.
Hindy has been a surgical assistant for 30+ years. She has worked with Dr. Terry for numerous years and recently rejoined our team. Hindy is our go-to person for extra help with phones, assisting chairside and discussing treatment, answering questions or simply listening to our patients needs or concerns. She is caring and considerate and makes sure our patients feel at home.
Zuni joined Miami Implant Perio this past September 2020. Zuni has over 20 years of experience in the dental world. She has assisted general dentists, orthodontists and endodontists. Periodontics and dental implants were new to Zuni, but she has taken to it extremely quickly. She is very confident in her work and knows how to make our patients feel comfortable and safe during all of the numerous procedures we offer.

My husband Orestes Garcia visited with Dra. Terry today 8/24/22 for an evaluation. Not only was he happy and pleased with the Staff, office ambiance and overall pleasant feeling but with Dr. Terry herself who thoroughly explained, evaluated and created a treatment plan. I'm very pleased with her care and expertise. I'm continuing further treatments as she suggested. I feel confident in her hands. My wife was with me and we both agree. Dr Terry and her staff are the best! She is kind, gentle, thorough and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the entire experience. The office is clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I've never been disappointed at my visits. I highly recommend this office!

Over 20+ years ago, I worked in a dental office with Dr. Beatriz Terry. I knew she was a great periodontist. Her patients were always satisfied with her work. Fast forward to 2020, one of my daughter's had an issue with her lower bottom tooth. It was protruding from her gum. I was so upset and remembered her and her reputation for being an excellent Dr. I called and made an appt. I took my daughter to her beautiful office, She examined her and explained the procedure from beginning to end. I trusted her and the quality of her work. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment for the graft surgery. After the surgery, my daughter had some bleeding and she was nervous. I quickly contacted her office assistant ( Hindy) on a Saturday early morning. She returned my call and spoke with my daughter calmly and said it was normal for the bleeding to occur. She was very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. A few weeks later, we went for the follow up appointment. Dr. Terry saw my daughter and said everything was successful. We are both very happy with the outcome. Her gum has healed and her tooth is now covered and looks very healthy. She can now smile with confidence again. I will highly recommend you.
